Fox said the three decades he has been married to his wife have been "the best 35 years of [his] life." According to him, Pollan had been the root of their happy marriage, and he'd "be dead" without her.

Pollan responded to Fox's post with affection, "Love this and love you!!!!😍😍😍." Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, said his wife had kept the vow of being with him in "in sickness and in health" for more than three decades.
The "Back to the Future" star was diagnosed with Parkinson's three years into his marriage, and he is glad his family never allowed his sickness to affect them on a daily basis. Nevertheless, accepting his illness took time.

Fox has suffered from numerous injuries ever since he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991. He revealed that due to loss of balance, he broke his shoulder and had it replaced.
The actor also said he broke his elbow, hand, face, and humerus and had an infection that almost cost him a finger. He said due to Parkinson's disease, he falls down, trips over things, and breaks things.
The 62-year-old noted that the condition not only affected him physically, but they messed with his relationships and mental health:
"I lost family members. I lost my dog. I lost freedom. I lost health. I hesitate to use the term depression because I'm not qualified to diagnose myself, but all the signs were there."
Fox, who said he now lives one day at a time, admitted that his condition was taking a great toll on him. "I won't win at this. I will lose. But, there's plenty to be gained in the loss," he accepted.
Fox opened up about his condition and battle with alcoholism in his documentary "Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie." The documentary showcases Fox's successful acting career.
