Ron Howard Shares Rare Photo with Son Reed from Their Family Outing

Ron Howard's son, Reed Howard, enjoyed a day at the movies with his family and the famous director encouraged others to do the same.

"Our family had a blast," Ron Howard wrote on July 6, 2023, posing with his son Reed Howard with an "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" Imax poster. This is Harrison Ford's fifth time to reprise the character.

"What a great way to wrap up this tremendous character journey," Ron continued, "Great action, fun, and heart. Enjoy it on the big screen."

"The Da Vinci Code" director's son does not appear in public often, and he rarely posts on social media. The last update in January that Ron did of Reed was when Bryce Dallas Howard gave her brother a haircut in the kitchen.

In mid-June 2022, Reed uploaded a reel of him trying to apply "mind over matter" as he takes an ice bath after a cold shower. He tries to convince himself it is a warm summer's day and the floating icicle is a daisy. Reed Cross Howard, born April 12, 1987, is the youngest of Ron and Cheryl Howard's four children.

He is married to Ashley Howard, with whom he has Aspen Leigh Howard, their only daughter. Reed is a professional golf player who shares tutorials and other golf-related content on his YouTube channel. He was spoken in the past about what a hands-on Ron was in their youth.

Bryce Dallas Howard, born March 2, 1981, is the eldest of the clan. When not giving family members haircuts, she is an actress, producer, and director by trade. She has starred in "Black Mirror," "The Help," the "Jurassic World" franchise with Chris Pratt, and "Rocketman."

The NYU alum used to hide her connection to her illustrious father in college but has since embraced it. She referenced her dad's "Apollo 13" when directing an episode of "The Mandalorian." She has two kids with her husband, Seth Gabel.

Fraternal twins Paige Carlyle Howard, and Jocelyn Carlyle Howard, were born on February 5, 1985. Paige is an actress and children's book author with credits in "90210," "Arrested Development," "stalkTALK," and "Adventureland."

Paige married Timmy Abou Nasr in May 2022. Updates on Jocelyn tend to come from her father or twin's social media. She now goes by her married name Jocelyn Carlyle Howard-Charbeneau.
