In January 2022, Hoffman shared an adorable photo of his son sleeping on his chest, revealing it was the "best feeling in the world." The actor also shared about fatherhood:

More recently, Hoffman took a trip down memory lane and posted a video of his son as a toddler in honor of his 8th birthday, referring to him as the love of his life. "Still excited when I pull up to the house. Hope it never changes:) Happy, Healthy Birthday Cole!!! I love you more than anything!!!" Hoffman added.

However, in the sound of the video, a woman's voice could be heard encouraging his son, and there is very little information on who the woman is and her relationship with the actor and his son.

In 2016, Hoffman opened up about his "Suits" character Louis Litt's love life and what was next in his relationship with architect Tara, played by Carly Pope. However, the actor has yet to share any clues about his love life offscreen.
