Edi Gathegi's wife, Adriana Marinescu, is in the entertainment industry and has collaborated with her husband a few times. The two have been married for nearly a decade, marking their seventh marriage anniversary in May 2023.
On May 29, 2021, Edi Gathegi's wife, Adriana Marinescu (now Gathegi), shared photos of them posing intimately in a garden. The lovebirds embrace in the first photo, opting for a more quaint pose in the second.
Alongside the short picture carousel, Marinescu penned a sweet tribute honoring their fifth wedding anniversary, noting how they'd spent half a decade loving one another. The couple had also grown as individuals while having the most fun.
"Even our fights got better [...]! I adore you beyond this realm and human comprehension. Happy anniversary my heart!" she wrote. The post was one of many that celebrated her love for the actor.
Gathegi has also showered his wife with affection on social media. The two are thriving in the entertainment industry, and although they have collaborated, it appears their primary focuses are on different aspects.

Edi Gathegi's Wife, Adriana Marinescu, Was Once a Dancer
Marinescu was part of the Fly Project musical group as a dancer. It's unclear when, but she was romantically involved with Romanian musician Speak during her time as a dancer, and the two reportedly got engaged but later called it off.
Marinescu moved to Los Angeles, California, following the split to further her career. Although her profession is also unclear, looking at her Instagram page, it seems she took up modeling. Additionally, she has tried her hand at film and TV.
Adriana Marinescu Dabbled in Producing and Acting Alongside Her Husband
Marinescu appeared uncredited as Fitz' Wife in the 2018 comedy-drama, "Better Start Running," co-starring her husband (who plays Fitz Paradise), Karan Soni, and Jeremy Irons. She and Gathegi also co-produced a movie short titled "Bad Chemistry," though the publishing date is unknown.
Although Gathegi continues acting — he was recently cast as Mister Terrific in James Gunn's upcoming "Superman: Legacy," alongside Nathan Fillion and David Cornswet — he has produced remarkable work behind the scenes, including the thriller series "StartUp."
He and Marinescu began appearing in each other's timelines during the mid-2010s. Their earliest photos date back to March 2016, when they traveled to San Juan and presumably vacationed in the Puerto Rican city. They returned in 2018, this time visiting Cabo Rojo.
Edi Gathegi and Adriana Marinescu Love Each Other to Death
A noticeable pattern in the tributes Marinescu and Gathegi pen for one another is their gratitude for helping each other grow. Gathegi once noted that Marinescu taught him lessons that no other human alive could have forced him to digest.
On her birthday in April 2021, he gushed, "She bad, it's her birthday, and I love her to death. Here's to the strongest sensitive soul I've ever met, a disturbingly beautiful combination. You inspire me to weather storms and keep joy close."
Gathegi is enamored by Marinescu's beauty and considers her his guiding light. As for Marinescu, Gathegi is the one she wants to spend the rest of her life "AND afterlife" with. He is the light of her soul that keeps her smiling and the one she promised to love for many moons.
