Magic Johnson's son EJ Johnson reinterpreted boat chic while towering over his dad and the rest of his family this weekend on a yacht. The reality star's mother had a significant impact on his style sensibility.

Actor and media personality EJ Johnson wore an all-white ensemble of a tube bralette with crochet bell bottoms draped with strings of pearls while lounging with family on a yacht this weekend.

Magic Johnson posted a photo with his wife, Cookie Johnson, his children, and grandchildren, writing how happy he is to share the experience with them. EJ also shared views from the yacht and a detailed look at his see-through threads on Instagram Stories.

A question EJ fields often is if he is going to transition. The openly gay man said in a 2019 interview that he does not feel like he is in the wrong body and is very happy with the way that he is:

"I can be butch; I can be femme. I can do whatever I want with [my body] and work with it. And so I don't feel the need to transition. I'm almost 100 percent positive I won't. But I am just, I know, I'm just very comfortable in my own skin."

While in college, EJ named Rihanna as his style inspiration, "all day, every day." Moving to New York City to study at New York University also exposed him to different fashions.

Cookie Johnson, who runs the denim fashion label CJ by Cookie Johnson, also had a formative impact on EJ's and his sister Elisa Johnson's instinct for fashion. "She taught us how to dress and put outfits together," EJ confirmed.

For his 30th birthday in June last year, EJ Johnson brought "high glamour and opulence" to Six Flags when he threw his birthday bash at the theme park. He sported a pink YSL look and served "cotton candy fantasy" in his second feathery Gucci and Versace outfit.
