Ludacris Credits 'Brother' Vin Diesel for Changing His Life in Touching Birthday Tribute
Ludacris recently paid tribute to his friend-turned-family, Vin Diesel, as the actor celebrated his birthday. The duo have gotten close since starring in the "Fast and Furious" franchise.
Vin Diesel is receiving a lot of love from family and friends on his special day. Among them is Ludacris, who recently penned a sweet birthday message for the actor.
Ludacris shared a laughing photo of Diesel while he was smiling in the background. Alongside the snapshot was a short but sweet caption that gave fans a glimpse into their relationship.
"This man has changed my life in more ways than anyone could possibly imagine," he wrote. "Please join me in wishing my brother a happy birthday today."
A few weeks back, the "Bloodshot" star shared the same picture on his Instagram, honoring Ludacris for a milestone in his career – earning his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Diesel was present during the memorable event.
Besides Diesel, the other "Fast and Furious" cast members attended the ceremony to support their co-star. At that time, Ludacris said:
"LL was the person who made me wanna rap. Vin has changed my life forever through the gift that keeps on giving, this franchise 'Fast and Furious.' It meant everything to have them show up for me today."
The "Act a Fool" rapper's daughter, Karma, also joined the celebration and went up the podium alongside her Uncle Vin. Karma's surprise speech moved her father to tears as he least expected it.
The rapper sees Diesel, a father of three, more than his other co-stars, especially since his youngest daughter, Cadence, is the actor's best friend. Ludacris and Diesel's families have also become close friends who spend holidays together.
Ludacris and Diesel reprised their roles as Tej Parker and Dominic Toretto in the 2023 film "Fast X," the tenth installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise. Fortunately, the film did well at the box office.
While the beloved film series may be nearing its end, Ludacris believes that he and his cast members will remain family until the end. Like Ludacris, the late Paul Walker is another "Fast and Furious" star Diesel formed a close bond.
Although Walker has passed, Diesel remains connected to Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker, who he walked down the aisle during her wedding.
