In July 2023, Melissa Joan Hart, famous for her role in "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch," celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary. The actress shared a social media video of her wedding day dance with her husband to honor the special day.

The star met her husband, Mark Wilkerson, at the 2002 Kentucky Derby before he called his family to inform them that he'd met a special girl. Wilkerson's sister, Sally, was beside herself with excitement after hearing the good news!

Sally's younger brother told them he'd given his number to Hart and tried acting calm about the star, but he knew exactly who she was. His sister screamed when she told her friends that her brother had met the star and given her his number when she asked!

In 2018, the celebrity confessed that she was also interested in the frontman for the rock band Course of Nature from their first meeting. On her end, the person she told about Wilkerson is her mother, and she described him as:

"The boy that she was going to marry."

In July 2003, the "Clarissa Explains It All" star's premonition became true when she and Wilkerson had their wedding in Florence, Italy. Their nuptials were immortalized on the "Tying the Knot' miniseries, and for 2018's Valentine's Day, Hart celebrated the holiday by sharing several Instagram images of her and her husband.

The actress retold how she, a girl from New York, told her mother in 2002 that she'd met a boy from Alabama, noting how they'd marry. After fulfilling the prophecy in 14 months, they later welcomed their first two children.

At the time, the pair lived in Los Angeles but then moved to the east coast, where their third child arrived, with the star noting how they "lived happily ever after!" To pay tribute to the latest wedding anniversary, Hart didn't only upload one but three separate social media posts!

How Did Melissa and Mark Celebrate Their 20th Anniversary?

On July 19, 2023, Hart commemorated her wedding anniversary with Wilkerson by sharing Instagram clips and photos of them after exchanging vows, one of their first dance as husband and wife, another of their wedding day, and what they currently look like.

The "Melissa & Joey" star uploaded a clip of her and her husband talking, cutting, and playfully sharing wedding cake, posing for pictures, toasting their marriage, and then taking to the dance floor for their first dance. The actress shared that 20 years ago, she said, "I Do" and would "Do it all over again!"

The second video continued from the first one, showing the duo doing their choreographed dance routine to their favorite song, "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS, with her toasting the track in the post. The last part showed their framed wedding day photo, where they laughed while looking at each other.

The following image was of the couple today, older but smiling and still in love. When asked what the most memorable moment was from her wedding, Hart said it was when they exchanged vows.

The celebrity recalled how her husband was "crying so hard." They were supposed to have their heads down, but his nose was too backed up with mucus! Luckily, she had her grandmother's handkerchief tucked away in her cleavage.

While the priest spoke, she reached in to get the handkerchief and elicited giggles from the guests! Sadly, that was the only moment of their special day that wasn't recorded. Hart became a mother to three boys through her marriage, and below, we get to know a little more about the trio.

Who Are Melissa and Mark's Children?

Hart's 2018 Valentine's Day post revealed that within five years of getting married, she and Wilkerson welcomed their two sons. The "My Fake Fiancé" star also noted how a third boy was welcomed in 2012 when they had relocated.

In early April 2022, the actress confessed to struggling with seeing her children becoming adults. While being interviewed at Hollywood's Steven Tyler's Fourth Annual Grammy Awards Viewing Party benefiting Janie's Fund, she admits:

"They're getting huge."

Her oldest son, Mason, 16, is now driving, and although it's an outstanding achievement, it is "really upsetting" for the attached mother. However, the positive side for her is that he could help drive his younger brothers, Braydon, 14, and Tucker, 9. On top of his driver's license, Mason is also a pilot!

The actress' schedule also allows her to work for one month and then be off for two, giving her time for her family.

Hart says seeing her children start driving feels like a "loss of their childhood," as she and Wilkerson now have to talk to their children about sex.

The celebrity hilariously revealed how Mason didn't want to hear it, while Braydon didn't mind hearing "a little" before describing it as "gross" and making her stop. Tucker wishes to know everything and even asks things like "'What's a period?'"

Although it's difficult for her boys to come to her for advice on personal issues, she told them she's always there to talk and promised not to embarrass them. Despite all the hiccups of seeing her children grow, Willkerson's wife is happy Mason isn't focused on dating.

His primary focus is football, and he and his brothers learned other things from looking at their older cousins. Working, being a mother, and a wife saw Hart not sleeping enough, but she handled things by taking them one day at a time.

Luckily, her husband travels with her to most places and is an incredible father who doesn't mind caring for their sons. When the children were younger, he changed diapers and cooked more than his wife.

The actress' schedule also allows her to work for one month and then be off for two, giving her time for her family. Work is essential to her self-expression, but not seeing her children left her imbalanced, so she seeks that balance.

Staying in hotels while away from work is nice because she focuses on her family, minus the dog, mail, or car needing service. If work is at noon, Hart has family breakfast, and then they visit the zoo or do something fun together.
