In 2013, Kirk Cameron was interviewed about his love story, which he said he couldn't believe was true. The star, known for playing the role of Mike Seaver in "Growing Pains," recalled how he first met his future wife, Chelsea Noble.

He recalled meeting Noble while visiting the "Full House" set with his little sister, Candace Cameron. At the time, his sibling was starring in the series as DJ, and her brother was visiting a friend on the set.

In 2023, Kirk and his wife have been married for more than three decades and are still going strong. The pair also shared the reason for their marriage lasting so long when most Hollywood unions barely survived.

How Did Kirk Honor His Wife on Their Wedding Anniversary?

The actor noted how he'd watched the "most beautiful woman" he'd ever seen walk down the aisle to be his wife 32 years ago. He said she'd changed his life, and his dream came true after giving him a beautiful family of six children. Out of the six, Jack, Isabella, Anna, Luke, Olivia, and James, two are biological, while four are adopted.

The star said his wife left him speechless and humbled daily, and he couldn't find the words to express his gratitude for her affection, true love, honesty, devotion, loyalty, and "un-cageable free spirit." He joked about the handsome Greek trying before the "charming Scott" won her over, adding:

Kirk feels he and Noble were still children when they married and barely understood marriage but trusted God to lead. They now boast a love that makes them stronger and more grateful.

The celebrity wondered where the time has gone because "hours stand still when I'm with you." He never wished to be anywhere but with her and saw how they spent more than 30 years pouring daily into each other, their marriage, children, family dinners, and more.

The actor said his wife's specialty was sharing God's love with others. Kirk feels their children have the most incredible mother, and each minute he spends with her is stored in his heart, and he still has warehouses of storage room.

He asked Noble to make the next 32 years of memories better than the first half and concluded by saying he loves her, describing himself as her "undeserving husband, Kirk." In 2016, the actor said his marriage was a "covenant" between him, his wife, and Jesus.

He stayed true to Noble even in 2008 when he was supposed to kiss his "Fireproof" co-star, Erin Bethea. The star chose not to go ahead with the kiss because he felt it compromised his commitment to his wife, as there were no make-believe kisses in acting.

Despite being busy, the couple has learned that being together is important. Having separate activities and traveling a lot left them with distance in their lives, and to remedy this, they started having breakfast together on Tuesdays.

Noble confessed how doing that made her recall why she liked him. In a past interview, Kirk discussed how fatherhood changed his and his wife's lives for the better.

How Having Children Affected Kirk and Chelsea's Lives

In March 2019, Kirk and his wife spoke to EWTN about how becoming parents changed their lives. Noble revealed she and her brother are adopted, which led her to have a "passion" for adoption, and they wanted their adopted children to feel like their first choice.

Talking about adopting some of their children, Kirk said he thinks it is a beautiful place and a loving experience.

The couple hadn't anticipated adopting four children in a row, with the brood being apart by a year. The actress said she didn't think there was any difference between having a biological child or an adopted one because a special bond from God forms once a baby is placed in your hands.

Kirk and his wife even forgot which of their children is adopted and who isn't because they are all family! When asked to share their secret to a long-lasting marriage, the actor advised to marry an angel like he did!
