Chance Perdomo has become a fan-favorite for his acting credits, including playing Ambrose, a pansexual character in Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." In the show, the actor portrays an LGBTQ+ warlock who keeps viewers glued to the screen with his numerous romantic endeavors.

However, it remains unclear whether or not Chance Perdomo is gay offscreen, as the actor shared that he values his privacy regarding his sexuality. The actor has also left no clues of a possible romance on his social media.

Chance Perdomo on His Gay Character in 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'

Since kickstarting his acting career in 2017 with a role in "Hetty Feather," Perdomo has become well-known for playing Landon in "After We Fell" and "After Ever Happy," co-starring Dylan Sprouse and Selma Blair.

The actor has also become famous for playing Ambrose Spellman in "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," co-starring Ross Lynch and Kiernan Shipka. The show follows a group of teenagers, including Perdomo's character, who has multiple relationships, some same-sex. Perdomo said:

"We've already seen the narrative of the shirtless white man running through the jungle trying to save the day that's often perpetuated in Hollywood, so it was freeing to play a more authentic narrative that we haven't already seen."

Perdomo admitted that he had never heard of the term "pansexual" before landing the role but was happy to learn more about his character's sexuality. The actor was also excited by the artistic and creative freedom he had while playing Ambrose.

In "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," Peredomo's Ambrose had a few love interests, including a relationship with Prudence, a witch played by Tati Gabrielle. During an interview, he defended the actress and his character's relationship, which received backlash for its heterosexual nature.

"It's never a question of being attracted to that person simply because of their gender or wherever they are on the spectrum," Perdomo shared. However, when asked about his sexuality offscreen, the actor said:

"At this point of speculation and where my career's at and whatnot, I quite value my personal privacy."

Perdomo had one million followers on Instagram at the time of this writing and dedicated most of his posts to his career. However, on the rare occasion that the actor wasn't sharing snaps of himself during interviews or at public appearances, he gives fans a glimpse at his personal life with pictures documenting his travels or capturing a behind-the-scenes look at life on set.

However, the actor has yet to share any content that hints at him having a love life. Instead, the closest fans have come to seeing his dating life was when he appeared on Seventeen Magazine's YouTube channel to go on a blind date with a super fan in 2019.
