'I Love It Here': Amy Robach's Daughter Ava Monroe Has a Blast during Trip to Brazil
Amy Robach's daughter, Ava Monroe, is having a ball in Brazil with a friend. The eldest of the former "Good Morning America's" third-hour host recently released music.
"Her name is Rio & she dances on the sand. PS. I love it here," Ava Monroe captioned a carousel geotagged in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 25, 2023.
The GenZer shared vacation snaps and videos from multiple points of interest from the South American country, such as a selfie with her travel companion beside the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, a rowdy soccer match, a famous bar, and the pristine beaches.
The singer got creative with emojis in a previous post from Praia dos Ingleses, Floripa, Brazil, on July 17, 2023. She wrote with the slide show, "[hibiscus flower emoji] - ipa," as in Flor-ipa.
The multi-picture carousel opened with a photo of a toucan in a tree and featured more natural elements, Ava Monroe holding a cluster of mushrooms, and ended with the singer-songwriter sunning on the beach.
She also spent time in São Paulo, sharing those highlights in a post captioned simply with "Meninas!!!!," which translates to "girls." She explored the city's nightlife, markets, and historical buildings.
'The Shuebachs' Was Once a Modern 'The Brady Bunch'
Born Ava McIntosh on December 29, 2002, in New York City, Ava is the first child of Amy Robach and Tim McIntosh. She released her debut album," A Place To Come Home To, " in May of this year. The cover art features her posing in the subway.
The New Yorker became part of a blended family when her mother married "Melrose Place" star Andrew Shue. They lovingly dubbed themselves the "Shuebachs.'" Andrew brought his sons Nathaniel Shue, Aidan Shue, and Wyatt Shue to the family, while Amy also has a younger daughter Analise McIntosh.
Andrew once called their blended family their "greatest achievement," and Amy said that though they have been compared to "The Brady Bunch," her "biggest complaint" was that they did not have an Alice, the housekeeper of the TV family.
In mid-May 2020, Ava wrote about how lucky she was to celebrate her "two favorite ladies" together. "Mama, I'm so, so grateful for you," she said with the photos of her mom and sibling in bikinis. "You girls make my world go round - Ich liebe dich, meine Mädchen."
