T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Reportedly in discussions to Return to Work after ABC News Exit

Former co-anchors of "GMA3," Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, made their first official public appearance at the funeral of PR executive and activist Howard Bragman on Sunday, March 4, 2023.

It was Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' unofficial outings, while they were still married to other people, that led to ABC letting them go. ET Online reports that the charismatic pair is in talks with other networks.

A source told ET that while "there's hope" they might work together again, the veteran journalists are open to pursuing different opportunities. The ex-colleagues have an "undeniable" chemistry on and off the screen. She was clocked with a notable new piece of jewelry back in February.

After a tabloid exposed the affair between the "GMA3" presenters in November 2022, ABC pulled the lovers from the morning show on December 5. A spokesperson for ABC News said on January 27 that after conversations with the pair, it was agreed that it's "best for everyone that they move on."

A friend of the duo told the tabloid that they were "more in love than ever."

They both joined the program in 2020. T.J. Holmes has filed for divorce from his high-powered lawyer wife, Marilee Fiebig. They are parents to Sabine Holmes. Robach's legal split from former "Melrose Place" star Andrew Shue is reportedly nearly finalized, they have a son together.

The newly unemployed couple vacationed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in mid-February. However, they were recognized even on the other side of the border. TMZ reported that they interacted with fans on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Amy Robach and Holmes were photographed holding each other around the waist and holding hands in another photo while shopping in the coastal city. They were overheard expressing their frustration with the ever-present paparazzi a few weeks later.

Daily Mail, the publication that broke the story, observed Robach wearing a $650 David Yurman Unity Cable "promise ring." A friend of the duo told the tabloid that they were "more in love than ever."

According to one news report, ABC likely paid out their contracts with something extra to sign NDAs. Having been at the network two years longer than her beau and co-hosting "20/20," Robach would have walked away with a higher package.
