'Weird': Savannah Chrisley Called Out by Fans for Referring to Niece Chloe as Her Sister
Savannah Chrisley's playful video with her niece had people in her comments lashing out at her over the semantics of her complicated family tree.
"I know which sister I am… which are you?!" asked Savannah Chrisley with a tok she made with Chloe Chrisley. The clip, featuring Pink's "So What," is overlaid with the text, "There's 2 types of sisters. WHICH ARE YOU?"
Savannah is identified as "little sister," while Chloe is labeled "big sister." One person stated, "That's your niece, not your sister," but was corrected, "Her parents adopted Chloe, which makes them sisters." Another insisted, "You're her aunt, not sister, weird."
"It doesn't matter if your parents adopted Chloe when Kyle got into trouble or not. She's not your sister. She's your niece," one wrote. In a separate comment, they incorrectly called Kyle Chrisley, Chloe's dad, Savannah's stepbrother.
"That's her real brother... and she knows that ofc," a user rectified the commenter. Kyle and Savannah are half-siblings on their dad Todd Chrisley's side. "You kinda sound dumb. They are technically sisters," a person pointed out to the commenter.
However, many appreciated the beauty of intergenerational family members getting along. "You are amazing," a fan wrote. "She is blessed to have you as a sister. God bless you for stepping up."

"Every time I see a picture or video of you, the kids, or you with them, I just cry. You're an amazing person. What you've stepped up done is not easy, especially being young. God bless y'all, " another agreed. "She's so adorable!!" A viewer of "Chrisley Knows Best," wrote:
"It's been great watching her grow up!"
Chloe Chrisley was a regular on her grandfather's reality show. Todd and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, legally adopted Kyle's daughter. Her biological mother surrendered her parental rights in March 2017.

On her podcast, "Unlocked," Savannah talked about stepping up for her teenage brother Grayson Chrisley and Chloe after Todd and Julie were incarcerated for financial crimes; she also mentioned the detrimental effects of "hateful" comments on social media.
She has shut down comments on her parent's social media accounts. Savannah Chrisley confessed her unease with explaining to two kids not "fully developed" yet that their parents were not coming home. The podcaster is open to guidance and advice to navigate her new reality.
