'Sister Wives' Star Christine Brown Shares Engagement Photos, Finally Happy after Becoming Grandma & Split with Ex
- Christine Brown and Kody Brown from "Sister Wives" separated in 2022.
- Christine spent 25 years in a polygamous relationship with Kody and his other wives but eventually decided that a more traditional relationship was more to her liking.
- Now, after taking her leave from the Brown family, Christine is engaged and spends her time looking after her grandkids.
Since 2010, Kody Brown and his multiple wives have fascinated fans with their polygamous lifestyle. One man with several wives is largely unheard of, and when TLC made a show centered on the daily lives of the expansive family, viewers were highly intrigued. But after years together, the Brown family slowly started to disintegrate.
After more than ten years on the show, Christine Brown, one of Kody's four wives, decided to separate from the rest of the family. A few months after she left the fold, details about the end of her relationship with Kody started to surface when she did a "Sister Wives: One on One" special, in which she opened up about the end of her relationship.

In the special, Christine shared that Kody had previously confessed that he wasn't attracted to her. She recalled how cutting his remarks were and realized that her own attraction to him had faded over time. She also felt taken aback by his comments during season 17 of the show, when Kody told her that he was "turned off [by her] behavior."
One endearing snap showed Christine with her head resting on David's shoulder while her love-struck counterpart stared at his fiancée with a wide grin.

In response to Kody's sharp rebuke, Christine told him not to speak to her like a child during the "One on One" special. Although choosing to leave the family she had been a part of for close to three decades was tough, Christine shared that the choice also felt like it took an enormous weight off her shoulders.
She told Kody that she was leaving the family, and her longtime partner reacted with a cold expression and few words to stop her. Instead of trying to stop her or mourning the loss of his partner, Kody reacted indifferently, showing little concern and insinuating that Christine has always been manipulative.

He called Christine a "game player" and tried to remain stoic while his wife left the family with her six children. The pair announced that they were separating in November 2021.
Christine's Life after 'Sister Wives'
Although it took all of Christine's resolve to abandon the people who had been her family for so long, her new life offered brand-new possibilities and opened numerous doors. The 51-year-old Christine met someone new after stepping out into the world on her own, and after dating for a while, the pair have announced their engagement.
Besides finding the new love of her life, Christine's already sizeable family has expanded since she left Kody and the rest of his wives.
Christine and her new fiancé, David Woolley, recently shared their engagement photos with their followers. The pair looked adorably in love as they stared into each other's eyes with huge grins and holding hands. They shared three different images of them together, eliciting supportive reactions from fans.
In one image, David plants a kiss on his wife-to-be's forehead while she leans up against him. The pair stood against a lovely backdrop of mountains, holding hands while they shared an intimate moment.
Christine shared the snapshots on her Instagram profile, captioning the post, "We got our engagement photos done! Gosh! I LOVE how we look together!" One endearing snap showed Christine with her head resting on David's shoulder while her love-struck counterpart stared at his fiancée with a wide grin.
Fans took to the comment section, praising the couple for looking absolutely smitten. Many fans also noted that Christine seemed truly happy for the first time in years, with one person writing, "Yes finally true happiness. You wear it well." Another agreed, "You are a lovely person and you deserve the BEST. So happy for both of you."
David and Christine's children also chimed in, wishing the two happiness and sharing how glad they were their parents found each other. Christine's daughter Mykelti commented, "AMAZING!!!" while one of David's children, Kati Charlene, wrote, "I love seeing him so happy."
While Christine has half a dozen children, David has eight of his own, making them a large blended family. The two have reportedly also moved into a house together in Lehi, Utah.
But Christine and David aren't the only ones in the family who had plans to tie the knot. Gwendlyn Brown, one of Christine's daughters, recently said her vows with her wife, Beatriz Queiroz, in a ceremony attended by the vast Brown brood. Even Kody showed up to celebrate, although he wasn't in any of the family photos.
Christine's New Family
Besides finding the new love of her life, Christine's already sizeable family has expanded since she left Kody and the rest of his wives. In April 2021, Christine's daughter, Mykelti Padron, and her husband, Tony Padron, welcomed their first baby, making Christine a grandmother for the very first time.
Mykelti and Tony decided to opt for home delivery and shared that the birth was a great success. They took to social media shortly after welcoming the little one, noting that both the mom and the baby were doing well. Christine's sister wife, Robyn Brown, joined the young couple during the delivery via Zoom, guiding and supporting them.
Although the little one is Christine's first grandchild, the "Sister Wives" star confessed that it feels like she has been a grandmother before, since her sister wife Janelle Brown's daughter previously welcomed two grandkids into the family.
Nonetheless, Christine was over the moon when she heard her grandchild was born. The "Sister Wives" star looked lovely in a brown outfit as she held her grandchild lovingly, posing for the succession of snaps with a big smile on her face.
Christine took to social media to celebrate the arrival of her very first biological grandchild, sharing images of the little one with her fans. The snapshots showed Christine with the baby on her lap. The grandmother smiled happily as she held up her grandchild in the three different photos. She captioned them:
"I adore being an Oma!! It's so rewarding watching your children become incredibly amazing parents and then getting this wonderful bundle of love along with it!"
Fans were just as happy to see the baby doing well, commenting that Christine and the little one looked terrific together. It seems Christine is spending her time focussing on her family and making time for herself. Although she has separated from Kody, the two have decided to co-parent their children.
After their separation, Kody shared that he still respects Christine, and the two would be working closely together to ensure all their children's needs are met. Meanwhile, Christine is happily living a simple yet fulfilled life with her new fiancé.
