Jon Gosselin's Fans Are on 'Team Jon' amid Longstanding Family Drama

"Jon & Kate Plus 8" has not been on the air for years, but Jon Gosselin's reality is still filled with drama. A casual post by the dad of eight showed that he still had a lot of support.

"Find things in life that make you happy. #haveaniceday," Jon Gosselin wrote on July 25, 2023, with a photo of him setting up DJ equipment at an outdoor venue.

"Ten years ago, Jon probably never realized everyone would be team Jon," a fan commented. The former reality star and two of his children were on a Vice documentary last week that brought up old grievances in the large family.

"Been team Jon since the beginning of the show," one wrote, with another tagging along, "Always been team John." The positive sentiment flowed through the comment section. A person assured the former reality star:

"We're rooting for you and Collin and Hannah!!"

"Keep smiling, Jon! Your happiness is shining bright. Well deserved," one said. "You do look truly, genuinely happy, and that's a wonderful thing!!" a second echoed. "You're a great Dad," a supporter commented," Just wanted to let you know that."

The Gosselin Family Feud: 'There's No Need to Take Sides'

On a recent episode of "Dark Side of the 2000s," aptly named "Jon & Kate Plus 8: Family Circus," Jon and the only two kids that were placed in his custody, Collin Gosselin and Hannah Gosselin, claimed that the Gosselin matriarch, Kate Gosselin caused the rift in the clan.

Kate and Jon are the parents of a set of twins and sextuplets.

Collin revealed that none of his estranged siblings or mother reached out to him when he flipped a vehicle after he fell asleep at the wheel in 2022.

He still hoped to reconnect with his family and "take back the time" they missed. In a statement after the episode aired, Kate said that her son has a "distorted perception of reality."

In her social media response, Mady Gosselin, Collin's big sister, had a different interpretation of events. She asserted that her brother "physically threatened" her and every immediate family member. Kate praised her daughter's "bravery" for speaking her truth.

"There's no need to 'take sides,'" Mady requested, having gotten hate mail on social media for speaking out, "please just be kind ❤."

Kate and Jon Gosselin are the parents of a set of twins and sextuplets. They were granted a divorce in 2009, which was followed by a contentious custody battle.
