Jennifer Aniston's Lookalike Brother Lived in Car & Said It's "been a Pain" to Be Her Sibling
- Jennifer Aniston has two half brothers, John Melick III and Alexander Aniston.
- The actress has rarely made appearances with her half-siblings.
- But she and Alexander have a broken relationship and lead completely different lifestyles.
Jennifer Aniston is one of the most loved and well-known actresses in Hollywood. Her life changed for the better after she starred in the iconic sitcom "Friends."
The actress' father, John Aniston, was a well-known soap opera legend who unfortunately died at 89. Jennifer has kept most of her family life private, although it was known that the actress had a troubled relationship with her parents, which she eventually rekindled.

The "Friends" star also has two half-brothers. Her eldest is John Melick III, whom her mother, Nancy Dow, welcomed during her first marriage with Jack Melick.
The actress has hardly been photographed with John III, but the two showed a united front when she released a statement about her mother's death. Jennifer's eldest brother also had a career in the entertainment industry.

John III worked as an assistant director and production manager and is known for his work on "Universal Soldier," "Piranha 3DD," and "Thirteen."
The production manager is reported to have gotten married to Shannon Melick in 1995. However, Shannon reportedly filed for divorce, but the relationship status is still unknown as the couple keeps their personal life out of the limelight.

Jennifer's second half-brother is Alexander "AJ" Aniston from her father's second marriage to Sherry Rooney. Alexander is the only sibling that does not have a career in the entertainment industry, but he also leads a totally different life from his sister.
Where Does Alex Aniston Live and What Does He Do?
Jennifer and Alexander might not have a relationship, but he did attend the premiere of "Along Came Polly" in 2004 with his parents in support of his sister.
But since then, the brother and sister have not been photographed together. According to reports, Alexander lives a nomadic punk rocker lifestyle.
People who have seen him around said the 34-year-old lived a carefree "boho surfer life." Someone who interacted with him, Samantha Robles, a body piercer at Chimera Tattoo Studio, saw a mattress in his van.
He reportedly always had the same pair of pants and three t-shirts that he would hang outside the van and used to split his time between Santa Cruz, California, and northern Alaska.
Robles boyfriend, Mateo, said the last time he spoke to the nomad was when Alexander and his girlfriend were going to Alaska. Although he lived an alternative lifestyle, Mateo said, "I think he's very happy being off the radar."
But since he keeps such a low profile, people still noticed that he was related to two very famous actors when his father visited him. Alexander was reportedly very close to his parents.
The media described Alexander as a "traveling artist." He was reportedly known for traveling the US west coast in his van, selling skulls, and attending political protests. But he eventually settled in California and fell in love with his Australian girlfriend, Kiri Peita.
Why Did Alexander Abandon His 2 Children?
Before meeting Peita, Alexander was in a relationship with Adriane Hallek with whom he shares two children, Ryat and Kira. However, it is reported that the father of two does not have a relationship with his kids.
A source close to Hallek revealed, "'AJ does not see either of his children, and he's only met Kira once. He doesn't pay child support, but it's never been asked of him."
Before breaking up, the two were excited to become parents. In 2014 when their son Ryat was born, the mother of two shared a picture of him lying on her chest and captioned it, "This was immediately after Ryat's birth."
On the other hand, Alexander also posted a sweet photo of Ryat sucking on his thumb and captioned it with his unique sense of humor, "Behold the antichrist!!" he wrote. However, it is also unknown if Jennifer has seen her brother's children.
Nonetheless, the fact that her brother is not a present father is reportedly heartbreaking to Jennifer as she has also been open about how much she dreamt of having children.
Jennifer and Alexander’s Relationship.
Jennifer has tried her best to keep her brother out of the spotlight. The actress hardly ever mentions him in any of her interviews. But the brother is also not fond of his sister.

Alexander keeps a low profile, but the one time the cameras caught him was when he was at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. He was asked about his sister and did not seem excited about the question.
The then 24-year-old said, "It's been happening since middle school. It's been a pain in my ass for years. No comment." And when asked if he would ever speak about Jennifer, he responded, "Never."

The siblings share different outlooks on life. The actress did not take any interest in her brother's life. One close source said Jennifer only used to hear about him from her father.
Alexander has a consumerist outlook on life and hates Jennifer's luxurious lifestyle. “He thinks she lacks understanding of the real world." said the source.

Jennifer and her brother live polar opposite lives. Alexander loves his punk rocker lifestyle, rocking a black mohawk and covering his body in tattoos, while the "Just Go With It" actress lives Hollywood's glitz and glam life.
