Michelle Yeoh Gives a Closer Look At Her Wedding Dress with 'Face of Happiness' Corset

Since Michelle Yeoh married her fiancé of 19 years last Thursday, there has been a slow stream of content about the event. Yesterday she shared the incredibly quirky details of her gown.

"Thank q my darling big Brother Diego and Daniel, for my stunning [Schiaparelli] Face of Happiness dress to say hello as Mr. & Mrs. Todt," Michelle Yeoh wrote on August 2, 2023, along with a carousel starting with her and Jean Todt holding her Best Actress Oscar.

In previous posts, one could not see the golden features of a face encrusted with pearls and rhinestones on the bodice of the champagne-colored Schiaparelli creation. The slideshow included a close-up of the surrealist corset with a septum piercing.

The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 27, 2023. According to the wedding program that racing driver and guest Felipe Massa posted on Friday, the couple was engaged for 6,992 days.

The retired automotive magnate proposed on July 24, 2004, after they were introduced less than two months earlier on June 4 in Shanghai, China.

Todt is the former president of F1's governing body, Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, and was appointed the Special Envoy for Road Safety by former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2015.

Michelle Yeoh was previously married to Dickson Poon for three years. They remained on good terms, and she is his daughter's godmother from his first marriage. Yeoh is a godmother to multiple children but could "unfortunately" not have any of her own.

"I tried IVF, everything," she said in 2018. "I love kids and saw myself surrounded by them. But there's only so much you can put your body and mind through." She is stepmother to Jean Todt's son, Nicolas Todt. She posed with her "Todt boys" in a 2020 post.
