The pair tied the knot in June 2005 and welcomed three children, Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina Affleck, during the course of their over ten-year-long marriage. However, Garner and Affleck decided to part ways in 2015.

It has been five years since Affleck and Garner's divorce was finalized (in 2018), and the two have remained amicable co-parents ever since. Following their decision to split, Affleck divulged the following about Garner:

As he excitedly approached his kids and Garner, he sported a laid-back look, including beige trousers, a dark-colored button-down shirt, and trendy multicolored Nike sneakers. Similarly, Garner rocked light cream pants, a striped white t-shirt, and chic leather sandals as she carried a gray purse.

This Affleck-Garner family reunion comes only a few months after Affleck's now-wife, sensationally famous A-lister, Jennifer Lopez, 54, expressed concern over the longevity of their marriage. After a heated exchange between Lopez and her spouse, which saw Affleck slamming a car door after Lopez got inside the vehicle, reports said that the "Selena" star became "worried."

A body expert named Judi James stated that Lopez's worry stemmed from previous media pressures, which led to their first split years ago. Allegedly, the actress and musician grew fearful that she and Affleck could end up splitting again for the same reason.

Lopez even raved about how wonderful Garner is as a co-parent handling the transition of their blended family.

Apparently, Affleck does not do well with increased media attention. So, though the two shared sweet moments together before paparazzi caught him slamming the car door, Affleck's mood shifted by the time they reached the vehicle. Having been triggered by the paparazzi, James suggested:

"The worry is if he is again finding being 'under siege' difficult, which could, in turn, worry Jennifer if there was a repeat of the pressures that led to their first engagement and marriage being called off."

Their kids, who became a blended family following Affleck and Lopez tying the knot, also share good relationships and are reportedly close. In addition to the kids getting along with each other, both Lopez and Garner have embraced their roles as stepmoms to their respective sets of children.
