Lindsey Vonn's Boyfriend Is Actor and Founder of Tequila Company, Diego Osorio

Retired Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn cemented her name in the sport, accumulating a world record of accomplishments, but the former athlete has also made headlines regarding her love life. Before finding her current love, she was once married to one man and engaged to another.

In January 2022, Lindsey Vonn published her memoir, "Rise: My Story," chronicling her mental health struggles and lessons from previous relationships. A pattern that became prevalent to the athlete was how she often changed parts of herself to please her partner.

She realized that this pattern sprung from the need to be loved in ways she didn't yet love herself. But, with time, she learned to fill that cup for herself and now enjoys spending time alone.

"It's nice to be comfortable enough with life and yourself to be alone and happy with it. I feel lucky," she shared. Lindsey also dived deep into her battle with depression, which began in adolescence.

Yet amid those mental health struggles, she became one of the most decorated Olympic athletes worldwide. In addition to taking antidepressants, she found other ways that helped her maintain a positive livelihood, including journaling, staying active, and spending time with her loved ones.

Among those particular persons is her boyfriend, Diego Osorio. The retired athlete was previously open about her relationships with former flames, including famous athletes; however, she has been particularly private with this romance.

Describing herself as one inclined to be open, Lindsey found it tricky to navigate romantic relationships in the public eye. "But I think I learned that there's some things that need to be kept private," she reflected.

Furthermore, the retired skier realized that despite having happy memories with her partner that she could share with the world, she didn't need to. She permitted herself to keep some of those moments to herself.

Lindsey Vonn's Boyfriend: Diego Osario Is a Storyteller

Lindsey's partner, Diego, co-founded the luxury tequila brand Lobos 1707. He established the enterprise alongside NBA star LeBron James and former Combs Enterprises CEO Dia Simms.

The company falls under the liquor holding company Mezorio Spirits, also co-founded by Diego and Marc Mezvinskiy. Speaking about the journey to making Lobos 1707 a reality, Diego shared that his family had long been in the liquor business.

The businessman was passionate about storytelling and pursued it through acting (more on that later). However, a family member opened his eyes to a new avenue of sharing stories: continuing his family's legacy in the liquor business.

"My cousin told me to view the spirits industry as another way of storytelling. I began to do research and found the story I wanted to tell: that my great-great-grandfather—who I share a name with—was aging tequila in Spanish wine barrels as he transported it to Spain," he recalled.

Diego used this narrative to craft the successful brand's identity; the rest is history. Regarding acting, he has dabbled in film and TV but only has a few known onscreen credits. His first is for a soundtrack in the animated 2000s series "The Fairly OddParents," starring Tara Strong.

In 2013, he appeared in a movie short titled "Roshambo." That year, he also starred in a fashion film called "Escape from Mondays," which earned him and his castmates the Best Performance Award at the Madrid Fashion Film Festival.

Three years later, he appeared in another well-received film short titled "Drug Mule," where he played Guard #3. His latest work comes from 2019, in the comedy mini-film "Hotspot: A Guide to Finding New Love."

Lindsey Vonn and Diego Osorio Have Kept Their Romance under Wraps

Lindsey and Diego's relationship was first confirmed in May 2021 after photos of the couple walking arm-in-arm during a coffee run in New York City emerged. "It's new, and they're enjoying getting to know each other," an insider close to the lovebirds shared at the time.

Lindsey and Diego had met through mutual friends. Little else is known about their love story; the couple rarely appear together in public or, if ever, post each other online. However, they were seen leaving the Super Bowl after party hosted by Dr. Dre in Santa Monica in February 2022.

Before his romance with Lindsey, Diego's known former flames include Ana Boyer and Eugenia Silva. His last relationship was with Jordan Joy Hewson, which began in 2016, though it's unknown when it ended.

Lindsey Vonn Was Married to Thomas Vonn

Lindsey married her former coach, Thomas Vonn, in 2007. The couple had been together since she was 18. They ended their marriage in 2013. The retired skier has spoken about the toll divorce took on her, saying it was the "scariest thing" she'd ever done.

"Getting divorced was the scariest thing I'd ever done. I'd been dating him since I was 18, and I realized I wasn't happy anymore. I wasn't sure if I was strong enough to be on my own, but I found out that I am," she shared in an interview the following year.

Lindsey Vonn Stayed Friends with Tiger Woods Following the End of Their Relationship

Lindsey began dating Tiger Woods in 2013. The former couple formally announced they were dating that March, revealing their relationship began platonically, but they grew close and developed romantic feelings for one another.

Their journeys as athletes and passion for their chosen sports partly strengthened their bond, especially when they faced injuries. They separated in May 2015, with Lindsey announcing their split on Facebook.

"I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart," she wrote in her post. Following the release of her memoir and his car accident at the time, she said, "We are friends and, of course, I'm happy that he is back and healthy."

Lindsey Vonn Was Engaged to PK Subban

Lindsey met Pernell-Karl Sylvester Subban, popularly known as P. K. Subban, at the 2017 ESPYs through her younger sister, Karin. The former Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman was interested in her but hesitated to pursue her since she was seeing someone then.

Once she was single, he reached out to her, and they eventually began dating in 2018. They frequently documented their adventures on social media, were happy together, and became engaged in August 2019. The former lovers remained together until late 2020 when they announced their separation.

They both wrote heartfelt messages in now-deleted Instagram posts, expressing their appreciation for one another and the time they spent together as a couple. Sadly, that period had to come to an end.
