Why Did Pauley Leave “NCIS?”
In 2018, Perrette quit her job on "NCIS" after being on the show for 15 years. Several reports said the actress left the series after clashing with her co-star, Mark Harmon, as the pair allegedly had issues behind the scenes in 2016.

That year, Harmon reportedly brought his dog on set, and it bit a crew member who then needed 15 stitches. Proof of their fallout was how they never appeared together on screen when the actress's final episode aired.

Perrette went to "NCIS" headquarters to say goodbye to her colleagues, but her co-star's character only received a letter he read while she watched him from across the street.
In 2019, she revealed in a Twitter post that she'd never revise her role in the series. Perrette claimed she was "terrified of Harmon" and the possibility that he'd attack her. The star said she had nightmares about the possible incident and had found a new show that was safe and where she was happy.
