Lorenzo Leclerc Realized He Would Not Build a Career as a Race Driver - Facts about Him

Lorenzo Leclerc comes from a family of racers. His parents were motorsport racers, and his brothers have succeeded in the sport. However, his journey took a different turn as he transitioned away from pursuing a career as a race driver.

Lorenzo Leclerc initially aspired to build a career as a race driver, but he realized that this was not a path he could pursue. In an interview, he mentioned that he was always nervous whenever he participated in races alongside his brothers, Charles Leclerc and Arthur Leclerc.

During the same interview, he shared the story of his encounter with the late French motorsport racing driver, Jules Bianchi. Their fathers, Hervé Leclerc and Philippe Bianchi, were childhood friends, which led to their friendship. Jules Bianchi, at 13, already displayed significant talent in motorsport racing. While Lorenzo Leclerc acknowledged his skills in karting, he admitted that his friend was always three or four times faster on the track.

Lorenzo Leclerc Once Took Part in Motor Sport Racing

While Lorenzo did participate in a few competitions, he pointed out the high cost associated with the sport and emphasized the challenges of making a sustainable livelihood. He said:

"I did a few competitions. But I quickly realized that I would not have a career as a driver, because there is a fairly significant budget problem. This sport has always been very expensive & it is quite difficult to manage to make a living from it."

Lorenzo is the elder brother of Arthur and Charles Leclerc. The two siblings are celebrated motor racers joining the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton. While he did not venture into the sport, he managed and supported Arthur during his races. The three brothers maintain a tight-knit bond with a shared belief in the importance of family.

Arthur shed light on their sibling dynamic in an interview, disclosing that their closeness is strong, and they consistently stay in touch, even during periods when they can't physically be together.

Despite sustaining head injuries, Jules fought for a few months before ultimately passing away.

Lorenzo Leclerc Works in the Finance Industry

Lorenzo graduated from the International University of Monaco with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Management & Finance. He also has an impressive work portfolio, with roles held across various organizations.

Presently, he holds the positions of Co-founder and CEO at ALL TIME, a Monaco-based company. He also assumes the role of Managing Director at Square Capital Monaco, a firm specializing in private wealth management for individuals.

Lorenzo, aged 34, maintains a solid and close friendship with Charlotte Di Pietro. She occasionally showcases their bond by featuring him on her Instagram and once called him. "My Love" Charlotte is an accomplished dentist. She completed her dentistry degree in June 2023 from Universidad Europia.

Lorenzo also shared a close friendship with Jules. Their bond extended beyond racing; they shared experiences such as participating in running marathons together. Tragically, Jules met his untimely death in 2015 due to a crash during the Japanese Grand Prix in October 2014.

Despite sustaining head injuries, Jules fought for a few months before ultimately passing away. Lorenzo continues to pay tribute to Jules' memory. He frequently reminisces by sharing throwback photos of their moments and commemorating Jules' birthday, keeping his memory alive.
