Noah Kahan's girlfriend has been a hot topic since the artist has confirmed that he is indeed taken. Although he hasn't revealed her identity, online reports and a few other clues point to a woman named Brenna Nolan.

Since breaking into the industry with his folk-infused sound, Noah Kahan has amassed a large following and is paving his way as a mental health advocate. As his fanbase — the self-proclaimed "busyheads" — solidifies, the interest in his personal life grows.

Although the musician shares what's important to him, he keeps his personal life private. Still, he has confirmed his relationship status and shared a few details about his life with his girlfriend. While he did not reveal her name, his beau is believed to be elementary school teacher Brenna Nolan.

Brenna Nolan Is a Two-Time Graduate

Nolan graduated from Hanover High School in 2014 and enrolled at the University of Vermont, where she attained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching in 2018. The year before, she had a stint at Auckland University of Technology, where she studied the same thing.

She moved to Boston College in June 2019 and graduated with an MEd in Special Education and Teaching the following year. Nolan began teaching part-time at SOAR Summer School — between 2016 and 2017 — while working on her junior degree.

Between January and May 2018, she was a substitute teacher at Chamberlin Elementary School, and that August, she joined Bridge Boston Charter School as a full-time teaching fellow. A little over two years later, Nolan was the special education teacher for the 4th grade class.

Some Clues about Brenna Nolan's Relationship with Noah Kahan

Nolan and Kahan are believed to have started dating in 2020. In 2021, Nolan shared she adopted a puppy named Penny during quarantine. Earlier in 2023, Kahan revealed he had moved to Watertown, Massachusetts, with his girlfriend and their dog, Penny.

That month, he appeared for an interview with WeWalkDogs alongside Penny. According to Nolan's LinkedIn page, she also lives in Watertown. Kahan said the town afforded him some invisibility and gave the singer's life a sense of normalcy.

Noah Kahan and Brenna Nolan Are Working on the Busyhead Project

In May 2023, Kahan announced The Busyhead Project, a new initiative dedicated to working with local and national organizations to raise funds, provide and democratize resources, and destigmatize the conversation around mental health.

Kahan revealed he had struggled with depression and anxiety for as long as he could remember but was lucky to have loved ones who were concerned and encouraged him to get help. In addition to medication and therapy, he also received support from his girlfriend.

Nolan is also part of The Busyhead Project. She joined Kahan in the initiative in August 2023 and left her job at Bridge Boston Charter School the following month. Her reported boyfriend is one of many public figures advocating for mental health.
