Cindy Crawford's youngest child, Kaia Gerber, is said to be her "spitting image," and fans admitted that they struggle to tell the mother-and-daughter duo apart. Gerber not only looks like her famous mom but has followed in her footsteps.

In a February 2023 interview, Crawford was asked about the hair changes she has noticed as she gets older, and the star mentioned some of the physical features she shares with her daughter.

"I look at my daughter and notice that her hair is shiny and healthy looking — she has my old hair," said the renowned supermodel. Meanwhile, her child has also discussed the similarities between them in an essay for Vogue in October 2019:

"People in the industry were often taken aback by my resemblance to my mom. As I get older, it happens even more."

Fans Agree That Gerber Is Her Mother's Look-Alike

Social media users have also pointed out that Gerber looks much like her mother. In October 2022, People posted a side-by-side snapshot of the duo from separate occasions on their Facebook page. Some fans admitted they could not tell them apart right off the bat.

The outlet shared a throwback image of Crawford in a black sleeveless gown, and her daughter channeled her by wearing a matching black dress. Both wore their brown hair down in bouncy curls. "Like mother, like daughter," the caption read.

"WOW. She looks like her mom. Beautiful ladies," one Facebook user commented on the post. Another user echoed the same sentiments, writing, "Wow. Without my reading glasses, I can't tell who is who.

"Spitting image of her mom...beautiful," wrote one person about Gerber. Someone else agreed, saying, "She is almost a mirror image of her mom! Gorgeous."

One stated, "She really does look like the image of her mom!! Another individual complimented the two women, penning, "She looks just like her mom. Both are beautiful."

In addition to being look-alikes, Crawford and her daughter also wear matching outfits. In March 2022, she posted photos of the pair donning coordinating brown trench coats with black purses slung on their shoulders and black shoes.

The two struck poses while leaning onto each other and sporting sunglasses. Another picture showed them strolling the streets of Paris while facing away from the camera. "Postcards from Paris," the veteran actress captioned the post.

Gerber revealed in a piece for Vogue that she and her mom do not only have physical similarities but have the same "mannerisms" and "voices." She gushed that the biggest compliment she has received is that she acts like her beloved parent, admitting:

"She has always been my hero and my role model."

Gerber has even followed in her mom's footsteps. She started modeling at age 13 and said the industry was not that foreign to her, all thanks to the "knowledge" passed down by her mother.

The 22-year-old, who is also an actress like Crawford, stated she felt sure enough about her decision to pursue modeling because of what she had already been exposed to because of her mom.

Gerber further explained that she values education in whatever form it comes. "I graduated early from high school, with all the credits needed to someday attend college; in the meantime, though, I'm learning more." said the Los Angeles native.

Gerber walked her first runway at age 16 at Raf Simon's Spring 2018 show for Calvin Klein. She also worked with her iconic mother in Versace's Spring 2018 show, where Donatella staged a surprise supermodel reunion including Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, and Crawford.

Besides being in the same industry as her mom, Gerber also found love with someone in show business. She is dating actor Austin Butler, who was discovered at age 13.

The couple has reportedly been dating low-key for almost two years, said an insider close to the pair. They were first linked in late 2021, and the source revealed although they have hectic schedules, they still make time for each other.

The insider also divulged that although the two are both in showbiz, they "have a very secure relationship." Butler also gets along with Gerber's famous parents, Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, who also share a son named Presley Gerber.

The lovebirds have shown how in love they are during their public appearances. They held hands at the March 2022 Oscars, where Butler gave his girlfriend a peck on the cheek. They have also packed on the PDA at the 2022 Met Gala.
