Sheridan Edley Is Now a Teacher – Her Life since Split from Jason Mraz
Sheridan Edley, Jason Mraz's ex-wife, has reinvented herself many times by building on her experience and qualifications, from working in government and finance to now being an expert in her field of special education.
With her Instagram set to private, Sheridan Edley has effectively kept the focus of curious fans chiefly away from her personal life. Her first husband, Jason Mraz, the singer, songwriter, and guitarist, also does not discuss their brief union.

Based on her professional profile, where she refers to herself as an "insatiable learner, she" returned to school in 2008 and was awarded an M.A. in education from Antioch University-Los Angeles in 2012. Edley completed additional UC San Diego and the University of St Francis certifications.

Shortly after, she began her tenure at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies in California as a financial analyst in November 2000. She was a supervisor for financial contracts and reporting by the time she left the company in mid-2009.
Edley briefly left the entertainment industry and became an elementary school music teacher for the 2009/2010 school year but returned to her supervisory role at Warner Bros. for a few months.
The Smith alum returned to teaching in August 2011 and has worked at schools in Santa Monica and Encino in California and Chicago, Illinois. She was an assistant principal at Old St. Mary's School in Chicago, where she had been the school's learning specialist.
