Alexander wasn't at home as he was in London. The couple didn't think the baby would come so soon, so Liza was home alone. She rushed to the emergency room, where Susan joined her as she was still pushing. On that day, Brendan was born nine weeks earlier.

Brendan was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit as he only weighed 4 lbs., 10 ounces. Six days after his birth, Liza's son stopped breathing and was placed on a ventilator. Five weeks after his birth, Brendan came home, and Liza quit acting to take care of her kids.

Liza launched Sage Spoonfuls, a company that helps parents make healthy food for their kids. She focused on her kids and her career, which now ensured she could work from home.
