Jamie Lee Curtis dressed up in a costume for her most recent outing with former co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. The pair starred in a '90s film together. On October 8, 2023, Curtis shared photos of her and "The Terminator" actor at what appeared to be a costume event. One shot showed the two Hollywood stars and a friend smiling while posing for a snap.
Curtis was pictured standing between the two men as she donned a red dirndl dress with black shoes and accessorized her look with a flower crown. The veteran actress captioned the post: "YES CHEF! YES GOVERNOR! Flanked and HAPPY! @hrockenwagner @schwarzenegger @afterschoolallstars.”
Following that upload, Curtis posted a picture slide with the first shot showing her and Schwarzenegger, 76, posing for a selfie. One other snapshot displayed her in a mirror selfie from the bathroom.
She took a photo of herself posing with one hand on her hip as she seemed to have removed the apron from her get-up, which also featured a white ruffle top underneath.
Curtis penned, "'Ya, my name is Ingeborg, I'm from Stuttgart.' I LOVE the way my friends suit up and show up for the causes that move their souls and hearts." Many of her fans were impressed with her outfit choice.
"Wowww," commented one fan alongside heart eyes emojis on the movie star's post. Someone else exclaimed, "Jamie Lee rocks!!!! Period!!!" One Instagram user wrote, "Absolutely slaying this whole outfit," alongside a fire emoji. "You look amazing!" remarked one person. Another stated, "YOU'RE SO ADORABLE JAMIE!!!!!!"
"Super cute," said someone else. While one expressed, "You are so beautiful and very inspiring! #thank you." Another agreed, "You are stunning." Three more people mentioned how gorgeous Curtis looked in her themed attire.
The Academy Award winner is now 64 years old. In an October 2022 interview, ahead of her birthday in November, Curtis was asked how she felt hitting that milestone, and she said:
"Oh my God, it's like the best thing you've ever worn. […] I feel good in my skin, in my mind, in my body."

Curtis revealed that the writer and director of the film, James Cameron, called her and told her he had written a movie for her and Schwarzenegger and wanted her to go through the script.
Cameron specially sent his assistant to meet up with the "Freaky Friday" star so that she could read the script and give it back. Nonetheless, he met up with her the next day, and she agreed to be in the film.

Asked what training she underwent to prepare for filming, the producer said she stopped eating as she had to do a scene close to the timeline. However, Curtis disclosed it took two months for her to get cast in the movie. That was all because Schwarzenegger needed to be convinced she fit the role well. The production team screen-tested several actresses as a result.

Still, Curtis seemed like the person for the job. She thought that the "Commando" star wanted someone "better" as she was not a "traditional beauty" or a "traditional leading woman."
Curtis understood Schwarzenegger's thought process and said she would have done the same thing. But she landed the on-screen gig despite the delay and even stole the show.

"True Lies" had a memorable scene wherein Curtis did a striptease. She stripped and danced in front of her on-screen husband, Schwarzenegger. The star revealed in June 2021 that she did not rehearse for that particular scene, which she filmed in three consecutive days — and there was no choreographer either.

Curtis was asked what she wanted to dance to and chose "Alone in the Dark" by John Hiatt. Since starting her career, she has received recognition for her work so far.
The California native was recognized for her work in show business in October 2022. Her "good friend" Schwarzenegger delivered a speech at her handprint and footprint ceremony in Hollywood and described her as "the most extraordinary actress" he had ever worked with.
