Leola English Stays with One of Tiffany Haddish's Sisters
Once a dynamic small business owner and manager of a U.S. post office, their mother, Leola English, went through extreme rehabilitation when she suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car crash.
At nine, Tiffany helped with childcare and teaching her mother the things she had taught her, like tying her shoelaces. The mother of five's personality changed, and the actress was subjected to verbal and physical abuse. Jasmine and the rest of the siblings, however, were spared this treatment from Leola.
