Tiffany Haddish Unveils She Recently Had Her 8th Miscarriage: She's 'Like a Wounded Animal'
- Hollywood actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has tried to become a mother for years.
- Haddish now has a new boyfriend and recently opened up about her eighth miscarriage and the tumultuous time she endured throughout the painful experience.
- In the past, she spoke about why she doesn't consider the option of surrogacy as the right route for her.
Tiffany Haddish is widely known for her comedic prowess, which has garnered her incredible success as an entertainer. Though Haddish has been living a full life under the glitz and glam of her fame, the "Girls Trip" star has faced many dark times, which she has used as a foundation to create comedic gold.
One such painful experience is her most recent revelation that she went through her eighth miscarriage. The 43-year-old, who has been longing to become a mother for years, informed her nurse about her tragedy at a doctor's appointment.
The actress, who leads a hectic lifestyle filled with an array of guest appearances, filming, traveling, attending A-list events and parties, running charity organizations, and posing for magazines, found time to carve out space to speak with her doctors about her fertility misfortunes. As the nurse asked her if she was okay, Haddish revealed:
"Well, I'm going to be honest with you; this would be my eighth one. I've got a uterus shaped like a heart. It just won't keep anything in."
In the interview in which she candidly spoke about her miscarriage, it was also mentioned that Haddish had taken parenting classes in the previous year. She had hoped that her concerted and preparatory efforts would help increase her chances of being considered for adoption. However, her feelings remain conflicted over motherhood because of the tough childhood she experienced.
The reason behind her apprehension is because of the vast difference between her past life of hopping from different foster homes and the abuse she endured and her current life, which though successful, keeps her exceptionally busy.
Coupled with her internal conflict comes the lawsuit she faced not too long ago and dealing with the devastating loss of her beloved grandmother. Though the news of her miscarriage became public knowledge recently, the star had only informed a close friend when it first happened because:
"I don't want people saying: 'Are you okay? Are you alright?' Like a wounded animal, I just rather go in a cave by myself. Lick my wounds."
Tiffany Haddish Opened Up about Family Planning and Why Surrogacy Isn't the Right Option for Her
Before opening up about her recent misfortune, Haddish previously spoke about her perceptions surrounding her overall potential journey to motherhood and family planning. The "Night School" talent, who was still dating famous American rapper Common at the time, divulged how she desired to adopt children aged five and up.
Speaking on a podcast where her then-beau joined her, Haddish explained that she wanted to foster or adopt kids who already knew how to use the restroom alone and could talk. The comedian also expressed how she wanted to be able to teach the potential children she considered adopting survival skills and share everything she has learned throughout her life with them as well.
She expressed harboring no ill will toward the "Testify" artist and wished him the very best in life.

In another interview, Haddish conversed about a personal decision she made regarding her fertility when she was younger, which was done out of need and urgency. She disclosed:
"When I was 21, I was really hard up with money and gave up a bunch of eggs. So who knows, I might got some kids out in these streets. I doubt it, though, because I never got the bonus."

Additionally, when talking about the likelihood of her pursuing surrogacy as a viable way to have a baby, the star addressed how she felt about the option. Haddish explained:
"I don't want to pay nobody to carry my baby neither because then I have to go through a process of giving myself injections and all that stuff."

Tiffany Haddish Is Now Dating Someone New After Her Relationship with Common Ended
Aside from her fertility woes, Haddish's romantic life has been heating up since her split from Common. After marking a year since the former couple's break-up, Haddish has found herself a new love interest and is now dating a Bitcoin investor named Marvin Jones. The new couple has already been spotted out and about, attending red-carpet events together and engaging in some steamy PDA.
Toward the end of March this year, Jones and Haddish were spotted sharing a tender kiss after enjoying a delightful brunch in Los Angeles' Studio City. The couple had also been previously spotted on several other outings hanging out together.

The ending of her past relationship with Common, which went public in the summer of 2020, was reported as a mutual and amicable break-up.
When disclosing the reasons behind their split, the "I Used to Love H.E.R." singer cited their incompatible working schedules, resulting in the former pair being unable to spend enough time with each other. However, after Haddish saw what her ex said about their relationship fizzling, she reported:
"I was very disappointed. I was like, 'oh, okay.' Cause that's not what you told me, but okay."

Though she chose not to include her own reasons as to why she believes the break-up occurred for the sake of privacy, Haddish believes Common to be the type of person to never have the desire to settle down with someone. She further likened the rapper to a bee hopping from flower to flower.
However, Haddish ended her statement by reiterating the love she still has for Common. She expressed harboring no ill will toward the "Testify" artist and wished him the very best in life.

Haddish's new relationship comes as a bright spark to the difficult time she has faced with her eighth miscarriage and the 2022 lawsuit she was hit with, which has since been dropped; however, it had huge implications and repercussions for her career.
As she continues to remain strong and persevere through her struggles with parenthood, she has her new beau, Jones, by her side.
