Tiffany Haddish Has Had Only One Husband: Inside Her Marriage to William Stewart and Other Romances

Tiffany Haddish had a husband, William Stewart, and even though she has been involved in other relationships over the years, her primary focus has been her career. However, there are hints that Tiffany Haddish might have a boyfriend.

Tiffany Haddish was born on December 3, 1979, in South Central Los Angeles, California, to an Ethiopian-Jewish father and an African American mother, who left the family when Haddish was three.

When Haddish was nine, her mother suffered severe brain damage after a car accident which triggered violent and volatile behavior. The difficulties of her early life led Haddish to stand-up comedy to transmute her pain into laughter.

Haddish worked on several shows like "That's So Raven" with Raven-Symoné and "Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz" with Nick Cannon. Her breakthrough came in 2017 with the film "Girls Trip."

She was cast opposite Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Queen Latifah. Haddish's portrayal of the zany Dina stole the show and set her on the path to stardom. Her personal life, however, has been rocky, with one failed marriage.

In 2008 Tiffany Haddish married army veteran William Stewart. At that time, Haddish was reunited with her father, Tsihaye Reda Haddish, who walked her down the aisle.

In April 2022, Haddish revealed she was ready to start dating again after her breakup with Common.

But wedded bliss was short-lived, and in 2011, Haddish filed for divorce from Stewart, and the divorce was final in 2013. In her 2017 autobiography, "The Last Black Unicorn," Haddish claimed to have suffered from domestic violence during the marriage.

Stewart sued Haddish for defamation and denied ever having been abusive. He also denied having married Haddish twice, as she claimed in the book.

In 2019, Haddish was cast in the 2019 film, "The Kitchen," with Melissa McCarthy and Elisabeth Moss. Another cast member was rapper and actor Common, and he and Haddish became romantically involved. The actress commented:

"I'm just way happier and it's, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways, and I love it. I love him."

The couple was quarantined together during the pandemic, and the actress even revealed that she and the rapper had discussed the possibility of adopting a child together.

But even though Haddish described her relationship with Common as the best she'd been in, the two separated sometime in late 2021.

In April 2022, Haddish revealed that she was ready to start dating again after her breakup with Common. She said:

"I'm all about adventure. I'm back on the dating apps."

The actress' search for a new love was successful, and she announced a new relationship with entrepreneur and Bitcoin investor Marvin Jones. Jones is Haddish's junior by ten years.

The couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere of "Landscape With Invisible Hand" at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023 in Park City, Utah.

Haddish, radiant in a red dress, with her hair styled in a glamorous and sophisticated blond crop, looked happy and relaxed. It seems as if she's found her leading man.
