When Jacob Sartorius' death rumors circulated on Twitter in October 2022, it left fans with mixed reactions. The rumors were put to rest by the social media star after he shared a tweet promoting his song.

In October 2022, the hashtag Jacob Sartorius dead went viral on Twitter, raising serious concerns among fans of the social media influencer and singer. The death rumors began after a website reported that Sartorius was dead after being involved in an accident.

The rumors garnered widespread attention on social media, igniting fans curious, with many left confused and wondering if it was true or false.

One Twitter user who was in a state of astonishment wrote, "DUDE JACOB SARTORIUS I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS THIS REAL DUDE ATOP." Someone else shared, "Yo, why are people saying Jacob Sartorius is dead???"

Another fan refuted Jacob Sartorius' death rumors, stating that the singer had shared a post on his Instagram during that time. The person went on to express their concerns about the spread of such rumors, emphasizing their personal connection with Sartorius as they had grown up together and stressed they found it unsettling to see such baseless rumors circulating.

The singer admitted to having many unanswered questions about his adoption, and there were moments when he felt he didn't know where he belonged.

Jacob Sartorius Dismissed the Death Rumors

Sartorius confirmed he was very much alive through a Tweet he shared the same day rumors of his death started circulating. "So dead I'm dropping a Halloween song tonight," he wrote. He later went on to release the song "Planet Lonely."

Just a month before he began trending, Sartorius had launched his EP titled "Sleep When I'm Dead," which included a track bearing the same name. Notably, the song featured lyrics directly sourced from his journals.

In an interview, Sartorius provided insights into the creative process behind the project's success. The singer disclosed it was his first time doing an EP that was executive produced by someone else, and he saw it as a valuable opportunity to collaborate and craft songs that blended seamlessly.

He also said the creative process felt like a mediation, highlighting there were times when they would be barefooted and sit in a meditative position with their eyes closed.

Sartorius Was Adopted at Birth

In 2016, Sartorius shared some facts about him. He revealed he was born on October 2, 2002, and has one sibling, an older sister named Caroline. The singer also said his favorite food is mac and cheese, and his preferred movie is "Pirates of the Caribbean," which starred Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley.

When it comes to dating, Sartorius mentioned that he would be open to the idea of going out with a fan as long as the person had a lovely personality.

While Sartorius is now a celebrated social media personality, with millions of followers keeping tabs on his life, he faced many challenges before fame and felt lost at some point. The singer admitted to having many unanswered questions about his adoption, and there were moments when he felt he didn't know where he belonged.

Sartorius, who shot to fame in 2016 following his hit single, "Sweatshirt," knew he was adopted at the age of seven when his parents told him. While he admitted it was tough to hear, he acknowledged his parents sharing the information in a loving way.

But what hurt his feelings most was when the word began spreading at school about his adoption, students started bullying him for something he said he had no control over.
