In the series, the actor starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and more. In fact, due to the show's unparalleled success and his incredible prowess as an actor, a media outlet previously reported that he, along with his fellow co-stars, made more than $1 million each.

This hefty amount was calculated toward the end of the show's run and was the amount they got paid per episode. With his millions, the "17 Again" star purchased a luxury penthouse in Los Angeles that spanned 10,400 square feet. Though he dubbed it a reckless financial move, his reason for doing so stemmed from the fact that Perry was an avid "Batman" fan.
Naturally, the actor argued that because the Batman character had a penthouse, it meant that he would have one too. Perry was such a fan of the brooding superhero millionaire that he even had the Batman wing logo as a decal pattern on his phone and a room in his house dedicated to everything Batman.
When the Christopher Nolan supporter was asked about why he took such an interest in the franchise and character, he simply answered that it was because he was Batman himself. Prompted to elaborate further on what he meant in a past interview, Perry explained:
"Well, he's a rich loner. We both drive black, cool cars. [...] I don't solve crimes. But I've saved people's lives."
He loved Batman so much that he even referred to himself as "Mattman" and posted several pictures referencing the flick. Just before he passed, he even posted a photo of himself in his hot tub with a caption that ended with his Batman nickname.

Matthew Perry Tragically Passed Away at 54 after Sending His Assistant on an Errand
Tragically, "Mattman" passed away at 54 on Saturday, mere hours after doing what he enjoyed. According to sources, before he died, Perry went home after playing his beloved sport, pickleball, with a friend who said he was particularly exhausted that day.
After returning home, Perry reportedly sent his assistant on an errand to pick up prescription glasses and a new iPhone. Upon completing the errand and returning to his boss's place, the assistant found Perry unresponsive in his jacuzzi and immediately dialed 911.
A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Fire Department said the response they answered stipulated that there had been an emergency involving water, though the type was unknown. According to reports, authorities stated that they found an array of prescription drugs in his house. This tragedy comes after Perry's final public appearance at the French Open.
