Friends' Star Courteney Cox Looked 'Really Strange' After Cosmetic Injections
Recently, "Friends" star Courteney Cox spoke about aging and her changing attitude towards cosmetic procedures, among other things.
The actress, approaching 60, confirmed that she now feels in tune with her age even though time flies. She has, however, acknowledged her accomplishments and all she has learned in life.
Despite her age, the star of "Scream," and mother of one, feels young and feels like she is the same age as her friends who are in their thirties. Here's a look at Courteney Cox's life.

HOW COURTENEY COX CAME INTO THE LIMELIGHT
Courteney Cox was born in affluence, and at ten, she became devasted when her parents divorced. Cox was a tennis player, cheerleader, and swimmer in high school.
Shortly before she graduated, she modeled and appeared in an advert for Parisians. Cox decided to study architecture and interior design but dropped out after one year to pursue a modeling career.
She graced the covers of teen magazines and numerous romance novels before moving to commercials while also attending acting classes. Being an actress was her goal.

Cox made her acting debut in 1984 in one episode of "As the World Turns." However, her big break came when she starred in Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in The Dark."
She went on to star in "Family Ties," "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "Friends," "Scream," and more. Her role as Monica in "Friends" made her an international superstar.

COX'S LOVE LIFE AND FAMILY
While starring in "Scream," she met her actor husband David Arquette, her on-screen love interest.
They married on June 12, 1999, and she suffered a lot of miscarriages before they had their daughter, Coco, on June 13, 2004, after two rounds of IVF.
In June 2012, Arquette and Cox filed for divorce on the same day, and within a year, they finalized their divorce. Despite their divorce, they remained friends and co-parents to their only daughter.

In 2013, Cox met the Snow Patrol guitarist, Johnny McDaid, through her friend Ed Sheeran. There was chemistry between then even though Cox is older than McDaid by 13 years.
They officially became a couple in early 2014 and got engaged in June. Their relationship became long-distance as McDaid's life is in the U.K. while Cox lives in Los Angeles.
In 2015, McDaid and Cox called off their engagement but got back together the following year. Cox revealed McDaid's love made her feel "safe and peaceful."

The couple has made the best out of their relationship despite the distance. McDaid and Cox were recently seen together at the 2022 BRIT Awards.
When Cox is back in Los Angeles, she lives with her daughter Coco. For Cox, even though her daughter turned 17, Coco will always be her baby.
On Coco's 17th birthday, Cox praised her daughter for being creative, loving, strong, sensitive, talented, soulful, beautiful, and wise while proclaiming her love for Coco.
Coco has walked in her mother's footsteps as she appeared in an episode of "Cougar Town" in 2012 but preferred to stay behind the scenes.
The actress, who also sings beautifully, is a senior in high school. She dyes her hair often and prefers to wear makeup, which Cox believes is how Coco expresses herself.
Cox believes that parents should let their children be themselves while setting some boundaries.
COURTENEY COX ON "CHASING" YOUTH
At 57, Cox is looking forward to the next milestone age. Even though she revealed nothing was wrong with turning 60, she couldn't believe she was getting to that age soon.
Cox claims to be more grounded in her life as she gets older. The actress now knows what to enjoy and what not to do. In addition, with all she has learned in life, she knows what and when to let go.
However, there was a time when Cox struggled with aging and tried to chase youthfulness and didn't realize the effects on her face. She said:
"I'm actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now."
Even when her friends told her what she looked like, she didn't believe it. Once she realized they had told the truth and people talked about her, Cox knew she had to stop.
Cox, who is now fully embracing her aging process, thinks that no one should aspire to aesthetic goals of decades past when in midlife, even though being in Hollywood makes it more challenging.
She proceeded to dissolve her fillers and now relies on laser treatments, microcurrent, micro-needling, and top-notch beauty products for that glow.
