Marcus and Michael Jordan are a formidable father-son duo. However, Marcus' relationship with Larsa Pippen threatened to ruin that. Larsa was married to Scottie Pippen for over two decades but began dating Marcus after her divorce from Scottie in December 2021.

When a photographer saw Michael out just after the news of his son and Larsa's relationship broke, they asked if he approved of the relationship, and the NBA legend shook his head to signal a "no."

Although Michael expressed displeasure at his son's relationship with Larsa, Marcus dispelled the rumors. He clarified:

"When I saw it, I immediately thought, ‘He's, you know, just being playful,'… I didn't put too much weight into it."

Larsa also acknowledged that her ex-husband and Marcus' dad might have felt awkward about the situation. However, the couple also denied rumors that Larsa had known Marcus as he was growing up or that she babysat him.
