TV personality and businesswoman Paris Hilton, 42, has worn many career and lifestyle hats during her lifetime, but perhaps the one she is most keen about is taking on the role of a loving mom. To some, Hilton may appear, on the surface level, as just another famous and pretty blonde, but that could not be further from the truth.

In a recent deep dive interview, the "House of Wax" talent asserted herself to be intelligent, brave, strong, and fun. She went on to open up about all she's been through and the changes in her life that got her to be where she is today.

One such significant change came in the form of a milestone when she welcomed her baby boy, Phoenix Barron, with her husband, Carter Reum. The lovebirds tied the knot in November 2021 and have been going strong ever since.

The couple had Phoenix via a surrogate at the beginning of this year and decided to keep the news of his arrival hush-hush. Of their decision to refrain from publicizing information about Phoenix and only announce his arrival on social media sometime after he had been born, Hilton explained:

"I felt my life has been so public, I really wanted to keep it private...I also loved being able to share this with just Carter..."

While speaking about her baby boy, whom she adores and calls her little angel, Hilton addressed her decision to have him via surrogacy. Interestingly, she revealed that her good friend Kim Kardashian had been instrumental in helping her with the process:

"I went and did the one round of IVF, because Kim had told me about it...Kim told me about that [surrogacy] as well..."

Of having her eggs frozen and choosing to pursue the route of surrogacy, Hilton admitted that she was a bit scared of the physicality involved in getting pregnant and giving birth. Nonetheless, she became a mom and has been enjoying the journey ever since:

"It's always been my dream to be a mother...We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

As is the status quo with having an incredible amount of fame, recently, Hilton's baby boy was subject to a nasty amount of hate. When she posted pictures of Phoenix looking adorable in a matching Burberry set, internet trolls commented hateful and hurtful things, specifically about the size of his head.

The fierce mama bear immediately shut the haters down and expressed her disappointment and hurt with a response that highlighted the unfair scrutiny she is under as a famous mom. A part of her statement read:

"...I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic.👼🏼...Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life..."

This past Monday, Hilton, who called her son her biggest blessing, posted an adorable video of baby Phoenix dressed up as the Cookie Monster from "Sesame Street." In the footage, Phoenix is seen looking inquisitively at the camera while his mom coos at him from behind the scenes.

Her caption boasts about how cute Phoenix is and how much she loves him. Upon seeing the video of the little boy, many marveled at how similar he and Hilton look, to which the 42-year-old happily agreed:

"Lookin like Mama so precious your baby is mini Paris 🎄."

Other fans swooned over Phoenix's overall look, citing his beautiful eyes and eyelashes. One even picked up on his intelligence through his ability to change his facial expression at so young already, and doting mama Hilton confirmed this to be true.
