Come Christmas time, singing powerhouse Celine Dion, 55, dresses to impress. In December 2019, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer posted a photo of herself looking fabulous in a bejeweled red garment and a fiery pair of shoes.

Dion's shoes, covered with strips of red, yellow, and orange, called attention as she posed by her elegantly decorated Christmas tree with silver ornaments and bright lighting. One fan remarked, "Nice Phoenix shoes..."

Coming from a big family, Christmas time for the "I'm Alive" icon has meant getting to spend the occasion surrounded by loved ones. In a previous interview, Dion recalled her fondest Christmas memories as a child, citing her mother's delectable cooking as a prominent favorite.

Dion and her family (which includes her sons) may enjoy the festive season, but the time is somewhat bittersweet for them after having lost their patriarch, René Angélil, in 2016. Before he passed, Angélil, Dion, and their kids would celebrate Christmas by skiing in Montana as a family tradition.

Reflecting on her first holiday following Angélil's passing, Dion found comfort in the belief that her husband was watching over his family, especially during the holiday season.

On her first trip to the mountains without Angélil, where she planned on drinking hot cocoa, playing games, and sitting by a toasty fire with her kids. "He put something magic into that snow, into those mountains, and every time we go down, I go down with him. My children go down thinking about him. Every time I take the lift to go up, I feel closer to him," Dion disclosed.

Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner, 51, is a big Christmas fan. Last year, fans saw the "13 Going on 30" star dressed as the mythical white-bearded man himself.

Garner took to her social media account to share a video of herself dressed in a blown-up red suit and a red Christmas hat as she goofed around and danced. The video also promoted a healthier alternative to sugary cookies and milk for Santa. "Give Santa what he wants: clean, nutritious, no added sugar goodness!..." she advised.

From the footage, one can clearly see that Garner was having a blast dressed as Santa, and her fans were delighted by what they saw, too. Comments posted underneath her video went on about how funny and wonderful Garner is. One fan even said that Santa himself would love the video, and another called her the queen of Christmas.

Christmas is a holiday close to Garner's heart, one embedded in sentimental value. Years ago, she posted a throwback holiday picture with her sisters from the 1970s and revealed that her mom had actually made their clothes.

Garner also revealed that her grandmother's sweet potato pie was a Christmas favorite, and she has learned to make the dish her own. She shared, "I roast sweet potatoes and scoop them out, mix with the hand-mixer and add butter and all the pumpkin spices...including a dollop of cream or milk, and then it goes into a pan with marshmallows on top and you roast it."

In 2020, music icon Katy Perry, 39, surprised many with her inventive, decorative-inspired costume: a Christmas tree. The "Dark Horse" singer posted a video on her social media where she appeared as a fully decked-out and decorated tree.

From ornaments to gold tinsel and a gold star atop her head, Perry embodied everybody's most beloved Christmas decoration staple. "Why cut the tree when you can BE the tree..." she captioned her post.

She took her costume so seriously that she even had gifts placed underneath her. Fans expressed their love for her creative idea, some were even inspired to do the same. "Now i want to dress up as a christmas tree 🎄," a fan confessed.

According to Perry, she is the best person to party with during the festive season. She explained that she enjoys going all out when it comes to holiday celebrations, be it decorating, dressing up, or planning fun get-togethers.

Getting to feel like a kid again and having the same level of playfulness as a child is important to Perry. In fact, the star says that a lot of people have commented on the fact that though she is in her 30s, she has the spirit of a thirteen-year-old.

Regarding things that signify Christmas time for Perry, she said that Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is one of the Christmas staples at the top of the list. Another song sung around Christmas time with her family includes "Let It Go" (courtesy of her little nieces).

Like many stars, for Perry, Christmas time is about family. She previously stated that it's the one time a year when she and her loved ones are all under the same roof. Traditionally, Perry and the other adults in her family celebrate the festive season by going on vacation and eating well.

Something else she and her family started as a new tradition involves Christmas porridge and almonds. "We find this almond inside Christmas porridge. It's like this game where everybody gets this Christmas porridge and you have to find the one almond. If you find it, you get the gift," Perry explained as she spoke about this tradition.

For some Tinseltown stars, Christmas is about making a list and checking it twice, even if that list favors the naughty more than the nice. Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson, 51, spun his own twist on Santa Claus last year.

The "Moana" star posted a video of himself dressed as a sleeveless Santa on his social media account last year. In the video, Johnson walks around his lavishly decorated living room while singing a Christmas hymn.

Though his singing voice was smooth, fans were more interested in his physical appearance. Dressed in a red coat that had white trimming and no sleeves, Johnson, who dubbed himself "Dwanta," bared his impressive biceps and a glimpse of his toned chest.

Upon seeing The Rock dressed as Santa, many complemented him and gave him the nickname Santa Rock. "We want dwanta for every Christmas now i mean...santa you're canceled bro," a fan wrote.

Johnson's version of Santa Claus, aka Dwanta Claus, has been a thing for a while now. Five years ago, he sat down with a popular media outlet to talk about the mythical character he crafted, who leans slightly more toward the naughty side. He also shared some Christmas favorites, like his love for movies such as "It's A Wonderful Life" and "Bad Santa."

Concerning gifts, being the incredibly popular actor that he is, Johnson spoke about how he receives presents from fans, which includes them getting tattoos of him and his references.

Johnson also started a new tradition for his daughters last year. He gets up as early as 5 a.m. to prepare for the moment his little girls would run down the stairs and dive into the bountiful presents waiting for them in the living room.

As a loving dad, Johnson lives for the invaluable moments of getting to see his daughters' joyful and excited faces as they celebrate the special day.

Whether it's showing off their cool Christmas outfits, decorating their homes, or cooking festive cuisine, when it comes to celebrating, these celebs all hold fundamental values at the core of their hearts: family and camaraderie, which sits at the center of what Christmas is all about.
