Jamie Lynn Spears is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears. Both sisters have been in the limelight for years, yet people were shocked to learn Jamie's actual age following her most recent reality TV debut.

Jamie, who has reportedly refused to mention her world-famous sibling, debuted on ITV's hit reality television show, "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" season 23 on November 18, 2023.

The child actress is one of the ten celebrities who decided to head into the jungle for the show. She has joined public figures such as "GB News" presenter and former politician Nigel Farage and "This Morning" host Josie Gibson.

As part of the show, the participants must leave their glamorous lives behind and set up camp in Australia for three weeks. Speaking prior to the show, Jamie admitted she was "wildly excited and nervous" about taking part.

She further stated that this would be an opportunity for people to get to know her better because there are many misconceptions about who she is as an individual:

"I do think going on I'm A Celebrity will be a nice way for people to see the real me."

Although she will live in the jungle for about a month, Jamie revealed she does not like water or heights. She is not looking forward to all that comes with being in the wilderness. "I don't want to have to eat weird things and have weird things crawl on me," said Jamie.

Many fans were convinced that the "Zoey 101" alum was older than her sister Britney, 41, until she appeared on the reality program. Users of X, formerly Twitter, expressed their shock to learn that Jamie, who was born in April 1991 in McComb, Mississippi, is 32 years old

"JAMIE LYNN SPEARS IS 32 YEARS OLD?" tweeted one social media user in disbelief. Another person penned on X, "Jamie-Lynn is 32 years old… I'm not going to say anything more on that." A third individual asked, "How is Jamie Lynn only 32," while someone else wrote, "Jamie Lynn Spears is 32 years old. She looks mid-40s."

Apart from those who couldn't believe Jamie was only 32, there were others whose comments took it a notch further. One wrote, "Jamie Lynn must have had a tough paper round if she's only 32."

Jamie is a family woman. She has been married to Jamie Watson since 2014. The blonde beauty revealed in an Instagram post in March 2022 that she and her love met when she was 18. He is a decade older than her.

The pair have a daughter named Ivey, 5, and the "Sweet Magnolias" star also has another daughter from a previous relationship, Maddie, 15.

In May 2023, Jamie, who stars alongside JoAnna Garcia Swisher in “Sweet Magnolias,” posted photos of her and her daughters, including one shot of the trio happily smiling on the porch. The mother of two admitted that although motherhood is challenging at times, she does not take the experience for granted.
