"Watching the NY tree lighting and I'm fairly certain Barry Manilow might have had one too many Botox injections."
Two other Twitter users compared Manilow to "Saturday Night Live's" Martin Short, claiming the two now had a strong resemblance. Meanwhile, other fans defended the singer and asked people to stop criticizing him. One person pointed out that aging in front of millions of people was as difficult as it was.

Manilow turned 80 in June 2023, yet looks years younger. According to the iconic crooner, he didn't intend to reach such an age but is amazed at the milestone he has achieved. He also admitted that he didn't feel like someone 80 years old.
The "Copacabana" artist had always thought of people his age looking much older and spending their days retired. However, he has no plans of slowing down in his career and even had a seven-show run early this year. He also had a mini tour and nearly 60 performances as part of his Nevada, Las Vegas residency.
