Daytime Emmy Award winner Billy Miller, best known for his role on "General Hospital," has died just days before what would have been his 44th birthday. Miller, who earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of Billy Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" passed away on September 15 in Austin, Texas. His manager confirmed his passing, noting that Miller had been struggling with manic depression.

The Travis County Medical Examiner's office ruled the death a suicide. According to their report, Miller had been dealing with bipolar disorder and depression. They also found letters at the scene, which indicated Miller's intentions.
