Eva Longoria Hugging 'Desperate Housewives' Co-Star Jesse Metcalfe in a New Photo

Eva Longoria was recently seen sharing a hug with her "Desperate Housewives" co-star Jesse Metcalfe. Their appearance together comes 20 years after the famous show debuted.

"Desperate Housewives" co-stars Jesse Metcalfe and Eva Longoria brought back a moment of nostalgia in a new photo showing the two, who recently ran into each other, embracing. The meet-up comes two decades after the popular show first aired, in which the duo's characters engaged in a scandalous affair.

Metcalfe and Longoria were all smiles as they posed for the picture. The photo was shared on social media by Metcalfe in his since-expired Instagram Story.

In the image, which shows the two embracing while hanging out, Longoria looked marvelous a black blazer while the "Dallas" star rocked a taupe-colored long-sleeved shirt and black pants. Metcalfe's caption read: "Nothin' like running into an old friend! Love you @evalongoria."

Later that same day, Longoria re-shared Metcalfe's picture of their Las Vegas reunion on her Instagram Story. She captioned her post: "Reunited in Vegas!"

Though the meet-up was unplanned and happened by chance, this was not the first time the co-stars were seen together. Last year in June, footage of Longoria and Jesse Metcalfe showed the two sharing a tender moment at the "Flamin' Hot" movie premiere in Los Angeles.

In the same month, Eva Longoria reflected on her time on "Desperate Housewives" in a past interview. She stated that she misses playing Gabrielle Solis (her character on the show).

She also revealed that Metcalfe's role of the teenage gardener, John Rowland, had actually been given to someone else before production decided to recast the role.
