Eva Longoria Shows ‘Much Love’ in Photo with Cute Son & José Bastón to Celebrate Husband’s Birthday

Eva Longoria was one of the multiple celebrities who took to Instagram to wish her husband a birthday on April 14. The actress revealed that when she first met her now-husband, there was no "connection." Fast forward a few months, and their second encounter was straight out of a rom-com.

In a recent Instagram post, Eva Longoria and José Bastón wore beaming smiles as they posed for a picture with their son, and in the caption, the actress wrote, "Happy birthday to the best dad, family man, and husband anyone could ask for!" Other A-listers also celebrated him on his special day, as Victoria Beckham commented, "Happy birthday xxx we love u Pepe!!! Kisses x."

Victoria's husband, David, joined in on the well-wishing, typing, "Happy Birthday to the most elegant man @evalongoria. We love u, man x (sic)." Viola Davis also left a message in Longoria's comments section: "Happy birthday!! Beautiful pict (sic)." Fans also took to Longoria's comments section to share birthday wishes.

One person wrote, "Oooh!!! Beautiful family!!! Felicidades, Pepe!!!" and another shared, "Happy Birthday, Pepe, and what a beautiful family photo!!" A third added, "A family consists of love. Eve, you are doing an amazing job as a wife to ur soulmate and your beautiful child. The pictures you share show do much love here and now! Big hugs to a beautiful three (sic)."

Longoria and Bastón had both just come out of relationships when a mutual friend introduced them. As a result, the "Desperate Housewives" star revealed that they did not have "a connection." Six months down the line, when the same friend ensured their paths crossed, Longoria said, "It was like the cliché angels singing, and there was a glow around him, and it was immediate chemistry."

The couple made their first red carpet appearance in November 2013, and after Bastón swept her off her feet, they tied the knot at his home in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. Longoria revealed that she had asked Victoria Beckham to design her dress for her wedding day ."I didn't want a wedding dress. It wasn't my first rodeo, and I just wanted something sweet and simple and elegant — and no better person to do it than Victoria," Longoria shared.

A few years after officially becoming husband and wife, Eva Longoria and Bastón welcomed their first child together. However, the actress was already a stepmother to his other children. "They've been such a gift in my life," the actress said about her stepkids.
