Jesse Metcalfe's Wife: The Actor Was Once Engaged & Appears to Be Single Now
Jesse Metcalfe was in a long-term relationship with actress and fashion blogger Cara Santana. The former lovers got engaged and remained so for years until their split. Metcalfe moved on with another woman; however, that relationship also ended not too long ago.
Jesse Metcalfe's love life has been well-documented over the last several years, particularly his romance with his former fiancee Cara Santana. The actress had celebrated her 31st birthday in August 2016 when he threw in another surprise days later.
The actor had planned a grand romantic gesture culminating with a sailboat ride on the Hudson River in New York, where he asked for her hand in marriage. The actress agreed to marry him and donned the engagement ring he'd personally designed.
Their favorite song, "Pretty Girl" by the father of five and singer Eric Clapton, played in the background as they celebrated. The former lovebirds had an engagement party later that year but would only start planning their wedding in late 2017.
Jesse Metcalfe and Cara Santana Started Dating in 2009
Metcalfe and Santana began dating in 2009 but were very low-key during the first few years. They started posting about their romance in 2013 and consistently chronicled the relationship online.

They attended several red-carpet events, traveled together, and got close to each other's families. Santana and Metcalfe also lived together and adopted two rescue dogs. Following their engagement announcement, Santana shared a few details about their wedding plans.
"Small, intimate, 80 people, Martha's Vineyard - call it a day," she told People. Although she wanted a small celebration, Santana also wanted to ensure her guests had a good time. She and Metcalfe planned to marry in September 2018.

Jesse Metcalfe's Wife: His and Cara Santana's Estimated Wedding Date Came and Went
Although September 2018 arrived and passed, Metcalfe and Santana remained together, and their relationship appeared strong. They celebrated each other's birthdays and still frequently went out.
When asked about their wedding plans in 2020, Metcalfe said, "We really kind of have it on hold right now. We were doing it not long after we got engaged, and then it kind of like just lost momentum. But I'm sure it will pick up momentum again."
At the time, he attributed the wait to tight schedules. A week later, however, photos of Metcalfe getting cozy with two different women at different locations on the same day surfaced in the news.
Although some reports say he and Santana had been separated for three weeks by then, a source close to the actress maintained that his actions blindsided her. Furthermore, the source said their relationship ended after Santana saw the pictures online.

Jesse Metcalfe Moved on with Corin Jamie-Lee Clark, But They Also Separated
Metcalfe found love with model Corin Jamie-Lee Clark a few months after going separate ways with Santana. The two were first linked in August 2020 and went public with their romance that December.
In early 2022, Metcalfe shared a photo featuring Clark, referring to her as his "wife." The post sparked marriage rumors, with his comment section filling with people asking for confirmation. Metcalfe's responses were cryptic, and whether he and Clark were married remained unclear.
The couple went strong for nearly two more years before splitting in December 2022. He has since removed all traces of Clark from his Instagram page. Work-wise, the TV star is set to appear alongside Fran Drescher in "Dawn" and Esai Morales and Drea de Matteo in "Queen of Manhattan."
