Man Sets 2 Outrageous Conditions for Public Relationship with Woman

A woman went on a date that started with butterflies and heavy flirting. By the look of things, there was potential for more dates in the future, but the next day the woman was faced with the most shocking text message.

In a post on the Facebook community page, Bad Dates Of Melbourne, a woman recounted her unsettling experience in online dating. The date started off with excitement and hope for the future until it all came tumbling down.

The woman began her story with excitement, detailing her anticipation upon matching with a seemingly ideal suitor. "I matched with a guy who seemed lovely and ticked all the boxes. I couldn't wait to meet him," she wrote.

Their meeting started strong, with the date greeting her with a kiss and telling her how beautiful she looked. It was panning out to be the perfect date as the couple spoke the entire night. "After several hours of flirtation, he invited me back to his place for 'coffee'," she shared.

The Facebook user was tempted to take up his offer, but she decided against it. The man assured her he was okay with her turning him down. But little did she know, this decision would be met with a long text of feedback filled with cruel words.

The following day, a text message popped on her phone screen, delivering a blow that left her in disbelief. "Hey. I think you're lovely and I could definitely see you in my future. However, to get there I feel I need to address something. While you have a beautiful face, you are physically way bigger than any girl I would let myself date. I would even go as far as saying obese," the text read.

The message continued to poke at her self-esteem with several backhanded compliments. The man told her she had a great personality, but that was the only reason he would consider a second date. He continued, "But my dear, I expect immediate action for you to redeem yourself. You will not be seen with me in public again until this is done! My suggestion is PT 5 - 6 times weekly and a strict diet."

From there, the man addressed her decision to decline his coffee offer. He told her she needed to change her old-fashioned views on sexuality and how disappointed he was that she had turned him down. "I'd expect more from a woman who is single in her late 20s," wrote the man.

To end his text, he asked the woman to genuinely consider his suggestions because they would help them build a possible future together. The woman was shocked, but knew he would never be seen with her in public again after that message.

She still had more dates following her horror story, but she was still scared because, after each date, she hoped not to wake up to a text of extensive feedback. But people in the comment sections were absolutely shocked at the man's offensive demands that he thinly veiled as suggestions for self-improvement.

It was shocking to Facebook commenters that the man even thought that sending a message like that was sensible. "Imagine living your life thinking this kind of behavior is ok. I just wow." wrote a shocked commenter. "Who raised this man???" added another netizen.

"My mouth literally dropped open. How DARE he?!" proclaimed another Facebook user. More commenters said they hoped the man never has a daughter, while others empathized with the woman for having to read a hurtful message that took several blows at her self-esteem.

However, netizens applauded her for not going on a second date with him. People believed she did herself a favor and dodged a possible emotionally abusive relationship with a man who would have done anything to build his ego.
