Scott Baio and his wife, Renee Baio have been together for 20 years and they celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2024.
"Happy Days" star Scott Baio and his wife have much to celebrate in their 17-year marriage, having supported each other through Renee Baio's brain tumor diagnosis.

The actor took to Instagram to celebrate this important milestone, writing, "Married 17 years today and together 20. They said it wouldn't last. Meh!" He shared a beautiful photo of himself flanked by his wife and their 16-year-old daughter, Bailey Deluca Baio.

Scott and Renee are an inspiration to their fans as their marriage has stood the test of time, as well as serious illnesses. In 2015, Scott announced that Renee had been diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor, noting that they hadn't learned yet if it was cancerous or not.

Scott Baio noted that although 90 percent of such tumors were benign, they could lead to serious issues depending on their size and location. At the time, the couple was awaiting the information on its exact location to determine if it was operable.

He added, "Renee has been down some rough roads in her life, yet each time with her strong faith in God, she comes through a better and stronger person. During this time we ask for your prayers and support. My wife is my rock. She refuses to even shed one tear, nor will she question God's will."
The family showcased their solidarity with Scott sharing that he, Renee, and Bailey would navigate the challenge together. They expressed hope that their experience might raise awareness about the importance of getting checked. The actor noted that approximately 6,500 people each year, mostly women, are diagnosed with such tumors.
The couple's mutual support got them through the initial diagnosis and in 2018, Renee gave a health update on X, writing, "Besides having 2 meningioma brain tumors, in Oct 2017 I also learned I have Microvascular Brain Disease."

Scott responded to his wife's post, penning, " Unfortunately, this is true. Renee is forever my rock, my life & my soulmate! Toughest person I know. @MrsScottBaio."
Now, approaching 20 years of marriage, Scott and Renee Baio have faced significant health challenges, yet these hardships have only deepened their relationship and made their bond stronger.
