A disturbing video, long buried in the depths of YouTube, has resurfaced, and what it shows is chilling. Nick Reiner, now behind bars for allegedly murdering his famous parents, once stared straight into a camera and rapped the words, "Bail me outta jail."

Originally posted in 2016, the video shows a younger Nick Reiner deep in character. But what once may have seemed like offbeat satire has taken on a disturbing new meaning in the wake of his parents' brutal deaths.

Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested on December 14, 2025, just hours after the lifeless bodies of his parents, legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner, 78, and Michele Singer Reiner, 70, were found inside their Brentwood, Los Angeles, home.

Now charged with two counts of first-degree murder, Nick remains in custody, and the resurfaced video has become a focal point of public horror.

Mockumentary Madness Takes a Dark Turn

The video, titled "Dddavid," was uploaded to a YouTube channel believed to belong to Nick Reiner. It features a mockumentary-style portrayal of the unhinged fictional character as he parades through the family's upscale neighborhood.

The camera follows Nick as he weaves through the home and surrounding streets, speaking to neighbors, interacting casually, and at one point smoking alongside his younger sister, Romy Reiner. The vibe is chaotic, manic — and now, tragically prophetic.

Throughout the footage, Nick refuses to break character. But in one moment, he delivers a rap-like verse with a line that's now gone viral, "You're gonna have to bail me outta jail."

The footage doesn't hold back. Nick is seen openly using what he identifies as marijuana, miming cocaine use, and casually referencing heroin. His past struggles with substance abuse, long known to those close to him, are woven throughout the disturbing performance.

Nick's exaggerated, unhinged behavior in the video has drawn comparisons to "This Is Spinal Tap," the 1984 cult classic directed by his own father. But unlike that beloved satire, this video comes with no disclaimers or clarification.

Fans Recoil in Horror After Arrest

In the wake of the resurfacing, online commenters have flooded the video with stunned reactions.

One person wrote, "This is just sad. R.I.P. Rob and Michele."

Another said, "Dark, just a weird way of life."

One viewer was visibly shaken, stating, "What am I even watching? This is one of the worst videos I've ever seen."

And another summed it up in just four words: "This poor family."

Mental Health Crisis May Have Played a Role

While the video continues to raise eyebrows, new details have also emerged regarding Nick's mental health. TMZ reported that Nick had recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia and was under the care of a psychiatrist in the weeks before the killings.

Sources close to the case described his behavior as "alarming" in the month leading up to the tragedy. Nick had reportedly been undergoing treatment at a Los Angeles rehab facility that charges $70,000 per month and specializes in mental health and substance abuse recovery.

TMZ also reported that Nick's doctors adjusted his medications three to four weeks prior to the killings. After the change, his mental state appeared to deteriorate rapidly. Despite further attempts to stabilize him, the efforts failed.

Shackled and Silent in Court

Nick made his first court appearance on December 17, 2025, at Los Angeles Superior Court. He appeared in a blue suicide prevention smock and shackles, seated behind glass, staring straight ahead in silence.

When the judge asked if he was willing to waive his right to a speedy arraignment, Nick replied, "Yes, your honor." His next court date has been set for January 7, 2026.

Nick's defense attorney, Alan Jackson, refused to enter a plea but addressed the media afterward, warning of the case's complexity.

"There are very, very complex and serious issues that are associated with this case," Jackson said. "Those need to be thoroughly, but very carefully, dealt with and examined and looked at and analyzed."

Death Penalty on the Table as Shocking Details Emerge

Prosecutors have not only charged Nick with two counts of first-degree murder but also filed a special circumstance allegation for multiple murders and an additional claim that a "dangerous and deadly" weapon — possibly a knife — was used.

If convicted, Nick Reiner could face life in prison without the possibility of parole, or even the death penalty. He is currently being held without bail.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the Reiner residence shortly after 3:30 p.m. on December 14, 2025, to provide medical assistance. That's when Rob and Michele were discovered deceased. Less than six hours later, Nick Reiner was found and arrested near the University of Southern California.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman later revealed that the couple was likely killed in the early hours of that Sunday morning.

Now, as the legal case unfolds, the once-forgotten YouTube video has become a central piece of a horrifying puzzle, offering a disturbing glimpse into the unraveling mind of the man now accused of murdering his own parents.

The tragedy of Rob and Michele Reiner's deaths continues to rock Hollywood and beyond, as those close to the family, and total strangers alike, grapple with the unimaginable.
