On Wednesday, 4 February, the legendary model and wellness icon took to Instagram with her most raw and unflinching update yet since being diagnosed with colon cancer — a cruel disease that, as her son Calum Best revealed last month, has already spread to her liver.

In the mirror selfie video, thin medical tubes are taped to the left side of her chest — a stark reminder of the reality she faces behind her radiant skin and iron will. Angie doesn't flinch.

"And we will win," she declared. "And if you're fighting any battles out there today, homies, just know, this too will pass. And you will win. And we will win. I love you, homies."

The former model, who was once Cher's personal trainer in Los Angeles and now runs her own gym in Henley-on-Thames, told the outlet:

"I do what's called 'functional medicine', where you look from the inside out. If you want to be healthy, you should be in good shape within by consuming the right nutrients and supplements and drinking plenty of water. Your body's like a car and you need to feed it the best food for it to work properly."
