Hugh Grant, 57, has just become a father for fifth time, his ex-girlfriend reveals

Hugh Grant is known to have four children. Two from his previous relationship with a girlfriend and two from Anna Eberstein.

According to RTE, his ex-girlfriend and longtime friend, Elizabeth Hurley let it slip that the star recently had one more child. This makes a total of five children for the star.

Hugh Grant, 57, has welcomed his fifth child with his third with partner Anna Eberstein. But the actor didn't get the chance to announce the news of his new arrival himself.

Elizabeth Hurley was the one who happened to let it slip in an interview. During an interview with E!'s Daily Pop, she was speaking about her friendship with Grant.

She stated, "I'm very lucky that 31 years into our friendship, he's still my best friend in the world. He's a really great guy.’ Hurley also spoke about Grant's love of fatherhood on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night.

There she revealed again that he was now a father of five by saying that Grant had another one last week. Hurley shared that he was over 50 when he spawned all of his children.

The actress stated that he was an enchanting dad who was really sweet. She revealed that having his children had transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person.

"I see him a lot; I speak to him a lot. You know, he's a father of five, he has five kids and he's a great dad. Yeah, he will remain my best friend for life."

The star said that being a father had improved him and that he had gone up the scale. Grant and Eberstein had their first child together, a son, in 2012.

They welcomed a daughter, their second child together, in 2015. Grant also has two children, a son, and daughter, from a previous relationship.

In September 2011, the actor had a daughter, Tabitha, with Tinglan Hong, a receptionist at a Chinese restaurant in London. His daughter's Chinese name is Xiao Xi which means ‘happy surprise.’

His publicist said at the time that Grant and Hong had a ‘fleeting affair.’ Grant said at the time that Hong had been ‘badly treated’ by the media.

Intrusion from the press prevented him from attending the birth of his daughter, with Hong obtaining an injunction to allow him to visit them in peace. After being with Eberstein and having his second child with her, Grant subsequently reunited with Hong.

He had his third child, Felix Grant, in 2013 with her before having his fourth, then fifth with Eberstein.
