Tim McGraw breaks the silence on changes he will need to face after sudden onstage collapse
A day after collapsing on stage from dehydration, the country singer spoke up about the incident. He shared what he would be doing to avoid the incident happening again.
According to Rare Country, he also shared on March 12, 2018, that his rigorous training routine would be halted for a while. But he did admit that he was now feeling good.
After touching down at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on Monday, Tim McGraw, 50, took the time to talk to the media. He explained to TMZ that his onstage collapse was, indeed, due to “lots of flying and dehydration.”
McGraw then added that he was putting his intense fitness routine on the back burner for a while. The star shared this information while walking through the terminal with his wife, Faith Hill, and crew.
Besides making a few changes to his daily schedule, McGraw appeared to be in good spirits. He shared plenty of smiles and a casual thumbs up before jumping into a vehicle.
The country music superstar reportedly collapsed onstage after his performance of Humble and Kind at the C2C festival. The festival was held in Dublin, Ireland, on March 11, 2018.
“I’ve got to cut short my workouts.”

After the incident occurred, he was carried off the stage by a medical staff. His wife and touring partner took the microphone to explain that her husband had been “super dehydrated.”
She also told the crowd that she had made the decision to end the show at that point. Hill told fans that her husband wouldn’t be returning to the stage that night.
Fans were very supportive and wished the star good health. Hill took over the show and performed to the crowd in her husband’s stead.
McGraw and company will soon return to the road for his and Hill’s joint tour. The country couple’s Soul2Soul The World Tour will pick up again on May 31, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia.
This will give McGraw ample time to heal and regain his strength.
