Ben Affleck refuses to finalize divorce 3 years after split as he wants his wife back

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck split in 2017 and filed for divorce in 2017, but they are yet to finalize things. As the Daily Mail reports, the Batman v Superman actor has been dragging his feet because he could want to get back together with Garner. A source told Us Weekly that 'he had at one point been telling friends he wanted his ex back,' even though he is still dating SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, 37. The two have been spotted in LA spending time with their three children and they seem to get along pretty well.

The source goes on to say that Jennifer was there for Ben when he was in rehab, and so the two could have rekindled their love in 2017.

'When Ben was in rehab, Jennifer was there every day, visiting. They did family counseling to work on their relationship. Things looked positive. Jennifer was very caring, very present. They both wanted it to work.'

Although the insider acknowledges that Ben 'loves and adores' Shookus, they go on to admit that the relationship could be affected by distance, seeing she lives in New York with her daughter (fathered by ex, Kevin Miller) and he in Los Angeles. They have been flying back and forth to keep their love alive.

Now, yet another Us Weekly source says that it is not likely for Garner and Ben to get back together. 'When they filed and decided they were moving on, that was it.' Garner and Ben got married in 2005 and they have three children together.
