Roberts has always been a regular face on Hollywood movies but her thirst for difference has led her to make her first major step into the world of television series.

In June 2017, it was announced that the Pretty Woman actress would be cast as the lead female role the soon coming Amazon video series titled ‘Homecoming’.

Homecoming is a psychological thriller wed television series based on a podcast of the same title created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg.

Recently, Robert was seen getting to work on the set of Homecoming in Los Angeles and she looked different from her usual self.

The 50-year-old actress donned an unusual thick brunette wig that made her look almost unrecognizable.

She matched completed the different look with a flower-patterned summer dress paired with beige Ugg ankle boots

She accessorized with round-framed shades as she held a bottle flask in her hand.

In what seemed to be another scene on the set, Julia kept the wig and boots in place but changed her outfit to a short skirt paired with a loose grey top and a striped cardigan over it. This time her glasses were off her face.

The Eat Pray Love star plays the role of Heidi, a caseworker who is employed at a government secret facility who is eager to return to the civilian life.

She stars alongside Dermot Mulroney who acts as her boyfriend and Stephen James who plays Walter for whom Roberts works for.

Julia has featured as a guest star on several series but this is her first major work in the world of television series.
