'DWTS' Emma Slater dazzles in a gorgeous wedding dress as she marries Sasha Farber
Wedding ceremonies are considered very special because they commemorate love, affection, and kindness that a couple share.
That’s exactly what Dancing With the Stars professional dancers Sasha Farber and Emma Slater celebrated on March 25, 2018, as they got married at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles, California.
According to US Magazine, Slater put on two Rivini dresses on the big day and she confessed that she was deeply involved in the design process as she and Rita Vinieris, the designer, spent weeks discussing the details.
Slater pointed out that, when one of the gowns was ready, she added the shoulder pads because she fancies the 80’s style and a white belt because she wanted a cinch for her ‘curvy‘ figure.
She admitted that, during the party, several guests were as sincere as possible and told her that they would love to get married in her dress. It was ‘so vintage’ that everybody loved it.
Apart from that, she thanked lead stylist Dean Banowitz and VOLAIRE Brand Ambassador for doing her hair in such a wonderful way. Slater was dressed so gorgeously that even Farber got surprised when he first saw her.
He revealed that when he turned around and gave her the first glimpse at The Houdini House, she was wearing her ‘beautiful white dress,’ which made him feel like if he was in a fairy tale. Farber added that he told her how beautiful she looked many times.
Slater was clear when she described the most memorable moment of the entire ceremony: walking down the aisle. While she was approaching Farber, she noticed that both her now-husband and her father had watery eyes.
The thing that she loved the most was the big smiles on their faces as it was ‘surreal.’ The groom confessed that watching Slater walking down the aisle was also his favorite part of the evening.
Their guests were so astonished by their vows that they even asked them to write a song with them. Among the bridesmaids, there were DWTS professional Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold.
Another aspect that people enjoyed a lot was their first dance. They chose Perfect by Ed Sheeran, which was the same song they danced on their tour for more than 50 cities to represent their engagement.
