Katie Holmes, 39, looks exhausted as she was spotted with her 11-year-old daughter Suri
Katie Holmes and her 11-year-old daughter Suri, arrived on the set of a new Fox FBI drama in Chicago on Tuesday, which was her first day back on set after a long break. The actress, who was in stonewash jeans and a gray shirt was shielded with an umbrella and escorted to her trailer by a crew member as it was raining. As the Daily Mail reports, Katie carried coffee and packed food before getting started on the pilot episode of the series. She looked a bit pensive and tired, but we are not sure whether the weather caused it.
Apart from starring in the show, the actress is executive producing too. Formerly titled Mrs. Otis Regrets, the show follows FBI Special Agent Hazel Otis (Holmes) who’s in the midst of investigating a domestic terrorism threat when a personal indiscretion - an affair with a prominent general – shatters her life and threatens her career at the FBI. Now, labeled the mistress, the FBI agent has to rebuild her life and reputation.
Katie made an appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and told the host and audience that she is in touch with her Dawson Creek co-stars.
'Every now and then we see each other and we’re gonna get together soon. It’ll be really exciting.’
Katie played Joey Potter alongside James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams in the hit teen drama which premiered in 1998 and ran for six seasons. Having been together for so long, it’s only normal that the co-stars become friends in real life.
